Welbeck was the only united player to score in either game against Madrid.
People think he's costing us games. What games are these?
Wayne and Robin speaks for me.
Wayne
You keep using the term 'idiot' but the manager has used him in the biggest games of the season. Is he an idiot?
People need to stop overhyping him like Rooney 5 years ago. But at least Rooney scored goals and is a far better player than Welbeck.
If he wasn't British and never came through the academy he would never have got the hand love in.

Wayne and Robin clearly doesn't have a clue about football. His criticisms are so generic and without any understanding of the game. It's just awful to read
Robert
The manager used Park for many big games. Doesn't mean he was special.
Wayne
Every comment you make confirms what a moron you are.
What is the arguement. Welbeck is either a striker or a midfielder...which? Well, he does excel a little in the midfield, but people say he should be up front. He doesn't do anything special as a striker and people blame the fact that he is playing midfield.
But he is doing quite well in midfield, so why not leave hime there. Stop calling him a striker, and as a midfielder he might score a goal or two. And playing a good game in midfield will halt all the Danny bashing.
Perhaps that is his future, for sure as hell is hot, Welbeck has no future at united as a striker.
That's a bit rich coming from you rob
Plenty of questions.
Like why is scoring record at club level so inadequate.
Wayne
Just give it up. Walk away.
The lad has a lot of potential its only his 2nd season. Hes got the temprement, attitude and confidance. A bit more composure in front of goal is whats missing.
Wayne and Robin clearly doesn't have a clue about football

As per my understanding a striker is supposed to score goals.
A bit more? A bit more would be if he could at least muster 10 goals.
He has two and I would bank money on him finishing the season with less than 5.
i dont usually agree with w&r but he is right about welbeck

Ji Sung is considered the greatest South Korean to make it in Football according to South Korea. The David Beckham of South Korea and he played at Manchester United. You have to have something 'special' about you to last as long as he did and be trusted by the greatest Manager to be in your team.
The amount of times he's gone out and performed any task we have asked of him heroically, saved us from numerous situations, he deserves a little bit more respect than 'he wasn't special'. He was a fantastic servant for us.
Hernandez is a far superior striker compared to Danny. I'll cringe if he doesn't play today.
We are fed up of Adey's lack of goals and effort, his stats would show that he and Wellbeck had a good season last year (Wellbeck scored 12, Adey 11 with 10 assists or so)
Goals make a striker, it's standard that they should 'work hard' I used to get annoyed when pundits and media said that Kuyt worked hard, it's a minumim requirment as a player to run all game
Goals make a striker, not the effort and workrate that's STANDARD
Yeah but he wasnt special in the slightest. We could have given any player with a good engine the role park did.
As for best South Korean, what does that say exactly, it's not a very long list of great players
As per my understanding a striker is supposed to score goals.

The Dennis Bergkamp was a crap striker, because the last 6 seasons of his career at Arsenal, he only managed to score past 8 a season once.
Goals make a striker, not the effort and workrate that's STANDARD
this
Every player MUST run all game, close, press, make effort, but as a striker goals are required
Doesn't matter what he is considered in South Korea. Its none of your or my business.
He wasn't a great Winger nor he was a great midfielder.
But he did a job and did it well.
Goals make a striker, not the effort and workrate standard.
