I honestly don't think there's been a more hated pantomime villain in the premiership to be honest some of it manufactured bye Fergie and the media and some of it justified.

But ask ourself this question, if he didn't win as many match and he wasn't the top scorer would they hate him as much, I know Rio is quite a nice fellow having followed him on twitter for some time, and yet after the defeat to Real. He was like a small child who had lost his dummy.


I think we should just let the lad be, he's a brilliant player and we love him, hope he finishes his career with us. Sadly because of everything else I have a feeling he won't, and the rest of the league will rejoice, that top player has. Left us.

Like I said some of it is justified, just like joey Barton, we all now it.

But at the moment because of his quality he's hated more, if he as a run of the mill defender who got hurt and carried on he would be loved by everyone. He not he's plays they way he know how, on the streets it's the same, and he's kept that in his game and its made him a better player.

I wont argue against him being the one of or maybe the best in the league, he had some bad press before he came and our press where just looking for him to a foot wrong, he hasn't let them down!!
