One thing we didn't see today was his trademark airshot all his other flaws were there

Mandzukic was garbage tbh, honestly had no clue he was playing. But I don't care about Bayern's performers, if we had a better striker than Giroud up front we could have won.

bayern munich have serious probllem, they just shoot to miss a lot of the time, it happened against chelsea, they can direct it on target that much.

As for the 40 yard volley, I was screaming at the TV. We had just won the ball back and we were in an excellent position to counter, then he goes and does that. Ridiculous.

Wenger must have told him to stop doing that (as shown by Wenger's reaction), so I don't know why he keeps doing it.

And for any reason Walcott was subbed and not Giroud again, J99

He shouldn't be our 1st choice striker ffs. In the past we had Alan Smith, Wright, Henry,Adebayor,Van Persie and now we have Giroud. I'm not taking anything way from Giroud but he is not a 1st choice striker.

If we could have avoid the third goal at the Emirates then we could have won. But you cant see that. I know.

Yes, Walcott was also shocking.

Theo didn't have a good game. Apart from making the goal and of course creating a chance that Giroud should have scored in the first half.

But

Oh god GT, let me guess, you think Giroud played well, don't you?

Good squad striker but not gd enough to lead the line game in game out imo.

Do you guys remember his 50 yard lob attempt late on against Stoke in August

If you're Xabi Alonso or peter Leven then yeah take the shot. If you're not then lay the ball of to a team mate in a better position.

Walcott would have been a better option than Oxlade in the last 20 mins when Bayern sat back.

So I see it as Wenger fluff.

If we avoided all their goals then we would have won 3-0 on aggregate. Or would we? You don't know. Pointless comment.

Yeah

How about his shot he tried against Chelsea?

The overhead kick he tried against Stoke as well I think?

When we were on the break against Sunderland away and he shoots instead of passing?

So many comedy moments of him being selfish

Lol Batmanu if i had wrote this article you would have been all over it. Fair play though for seeing it.

Why do you single out him when we lost a game which we shouldnt? That is the question to be asked.

Why do you criticise our performance anyway. We had no bad performer tonight

We should eventually that you stay solid at the back first which we did well tonight and we can win these games even with a worser frontline.

Podolski would be better as a striker than Giroud.

What in the mother of god are you talking about?

posted on 13/3/13

Well J99 I talked about to subb Giroud for Walcott. Its obvious that Wenger sees somthing in Giroud.

Wenger definitely shouldn't have taken Walcott off, considering just how much space Bayern were giving us in those last 15 minutes - space Walcott could have well exploited. That said, I actually thought Oxlade Chamberlain did reasonably well and ran at Alaba with a lot of confidence and incision, I liked the few things he did. He also aided in possession and was allowing Jenkinson to roam and raid beyond, something Walcott wasn't affording tonight.

Giroud should have come off in all honesty - he was horrible the entire night.

I think its cristal clear.

Its obvious that you want to misundersand me.

No GT, you are making assumptions based on nothing. If we lose 2-1 what makes you think Bayern would have played with the same attitude, or that we would have? You haven't a clue so don't make comments based on speculation.

Also I don't see how it is relevant to the topic. If we had a top striker playing tonight in Munich maybe we would have won by more than 2.
