Summer you can put me in the late 80s/90s category mate with the Armani Jeans and the Stone Island.. Never the Burberry though.

Wedges and flairs with waistbands (the more buttons he trendier) and why was snot green THE colour?

I can't believe I uses to walk in a way that made sure my wedges wern't covered at all times

I wasn't even Scottish but still had to have the black silk Bay City Roolers Jacket with the tartan edge

Fasion used to be so much better than today with kecks nowadays resembling penguin imitations

My personal fave was the Kappa, Taccini, Ellesse era though

Great article OP

casual days were my favourite

hf - you know me so well

As a kid before I joined the Navy I was an Electrician and used to wear my Donkey jacket with silk scarf (Blue home and red, white and green away) tie knotted round my neck with wide leg wranglers and docs!

I'm so embarrassed now

Mr. C. I still wear Armani jeans to this day but like you mate I don't do the Burberry hats that a lot of our tribe like.

The only Burberry I have ever done is the beige raincoat in the early '90's that I have worn over suits in the office before now. It was £500 from their shop in Piccadilly Circus. They saw me coming

Do you remember that in the mid seventies a lot of The Red Army boys used to love the old jean jackets?

Yeah Mr. C.

Some of the boys liked Hackett stuff at one time but I never got into that.
