I hate this rivalry. You do realise that the class of footballers is declining. No way is there the same type or same number of players there were in the 90's/00's.

I think Ronaldo is better just because he is powerful whereas Messi is light, quick dribbler and I don't tend to fall for players like that.

I do agree with Batmanu about Ronaldo being better than Messi because Song and Fabregas went to Barcelona. I just think that Song going showed that Ronaldo was technically better, and Fabregas making the switch showed that Ronaldo had more natural talent.

I rate Ronaldo to the extent I consider him better than 2 of the best players of the past 2 decades in fat Ronaldo and Zidane but whatever his improvement, I can't see how he's been better than Messi. There's been some fickle bandwagoning with Ronaldo outshining Messi in the recent Classico but stripping through all the hype, Messi has gone about his business fairly quietly. If people are not awed by what he's doing, it's because they've become desensitized to the freakish consistency of his brilliance.

Ronaldo plays in a weak Madrid team who are miles behind Barca so Ronaldo is better, Messi plays in a weak Barca team who finished miles behind champions Madrid so Messi is better. Messi scored more goals so is more selfish. Ronaldo scored less goals so is more of a team player. Messi got more assists so is more of a team player. Ronaldo got less assists so is better individually.

It's your opinion and it'd be better respected if you didn't look to denigrate the Messi "fangirls" and just defended your position. As for me, I still consider Messi a confortably superior footballer.

Messi is a class above Ronaldo who is a brilliant footballer I have to say. Messi has more goals and assists yet Ronaldo is more rounded?

both soo good but i think Messi is the best ever he just needs to win the world cup a couple of times with argentina and then he can overtake Zidane. The only advantage i see Ronaldo having is physically at set pieces and if Messi has a bad day he wont do anything but if Ronaldo has a bad day he is still effective.
