He is no longer the great entertainer he used to be, he no longer plays those defence splitting passes, he no longer dribbles past players for fun. He is just an amazing goal scorer now. Ronaldo has far more to his game.

But he is voted to the best footballer of the world again. So he regressed dramatically

He still makes those passes far more than Ronaldo. He still makes those dribbling runs more than Ronaldo. He still scores far more unassisted goals than Ronaldo. The fact you qualified your comment with "far" shows you up now as a joker. Give the poor wumming a rest.

Ronaldo is on another level to Messi. It is like Tom Daley v Ellie Simmonds, a gay icon v a midget, the gay icon (Ronaldo) has actually performed on the biggest stage, in the PL like Tom Daley has in the olympics, and people respect them for that. The midget (Messi) has only done it in the ParaLaliga so we all say awwww well done Messi in a patronising manner, whilst in the back of our mind we are thinking well he only did it against a bunch of other midgets. Where as Tom Daley/Ronaldo (diving aside) are actually both very good at the sport they do at the top level. Ronaldo for me.

Ronaldo is a winner.

Messi is a stat-stuffer.

Imagine if Messi and Ronaldo were in the same team. Imagine how many more goals Ronaldo would score with the service he would get from Messi, and imagine how many fewer goals Messi would get due to the lack of service provided by Ronaldo. So Ronaldo is better cos he would get more goals with Messi in the team cos Messi is better.
