I don't think its in poor taste.. She ruined many lives, many communities, squandered billions of oil revenue etc etc and now the nation is making it known what they felt about her.

And don't give me "if it was your mum" bullshît.. Her kids didn't give a toss about her when she was alive.

This is her legacy and if you don't like it, then tough. Its the nation making their feelings known in a comical way. Power to the people!

Dearie me - The lady worked wonders with a broken country and yes some people suffered but the WHOLE country was suffering under the stupid communistic approach of the unions prior to her taking control! FACT!

We get ignored whatever we do - look at all the folk who marched against the Iraq war. Did it do any good? Did it fck.

We have no choice at the ballot box, and governemnts who treat their manifestos like its just a vague plan which they an scrap once we've voted for it.

So things like this restore a wee bit of power (albeit in a silly way) to the people. I'm all for it.

Its the nation making their feelings known - so have the majority of the nation bought it/downloaded it? NOPE NOT EVEN FECKIN CLOSE so your argument is absolute gash!

"That was front page news all over the world stevie...see that thing you werent saying? Sounds like you were sayin it...."

So what you saying, coz I'm confused

1) At no point did I say Thatcher was a dictator, the points made were in relation to people dying and respect to the dead being shown, and in that sense, a song being played once on the radio is nothing compared to photos of peoples bodies and the scene of their death being plastered over front pages.

2) Just because photo's of Gaddafi were being plastered all over the world, British newspapers and media didn't have to print or broadcast them, but they did. Kate middleton's t!ts were papped and printed in a mag in France and that was deemed inappropriate, but a dead mans body wasn't??

3) Considering Thatcher caused a lot of pain and grief for people in this country that the rest of the world didn't suffer, she's more hated on these shores than anywhere else if you ask me, so if the worst of it is to be a song reaching number one, its acceptable in my view and needs to be taken with the pinch of salt that it comes with.

PC nonsense this is, she's dead, she will get a massive funeral for the services she did to this country......allow those that suffered severely under her reign their 5 mins then put them to bed FFS

This song will just stoke up more bad feeling before this funeral which will probably end up in riots as the "social activists" of our time aka twenty year old gang members vent their spleen through the medium of burglary, arson and violence.

Will this be about thatcher? No it'll be about fillin' yer fackin boots

Her jaws should have been opened before rig amortise kicked in.

Then she should have been taken to t in the park and left at the toilets so everyone could take a big steamyshite in her mouth.

Is the BBC not funded by the taxpayer?

Have they always played the number 1?

If they don't play it surely that goes against freedom of choice?

She worked wonders ally.. By creating, then reigning over the highest unemployment rates Britain has ever faced, whilst squandering the oil money on welfare (dole money)

We had a golden opportunity to reinvest that money in industry but no.. SHE blew it!

Thatchers supporters should have organised a counter campaign to get a pro thatcher song to number 1 its not like there isnt loads to choose from......
