24 was awesome

Oz beats all of those shows hands down though...

Oz was a great show that used to come on at 2-3am bizzarly.

The wire fizzled out for me after originally being great with stringer bell and d'angelo i think they was.

So its the sopranos all day for me.
Currently watching 24 on Lovefilm though and cant believe there actually is 24 eps per season which of coursse fits the title show but is so long to get through.

Suprised nobody has said the shield. Thats my favourite ever TV show, with great acting and storylines and more of a hit and run aspect to it then the slow boiling sopranos and wire.

That's the only series I liked enough to ever go and buy the box set. Jeremy Piven was absolutely amazing as Ari Gold the agent.

Sopranos poos all over those.

Someone gave me a memory stick with the first 20 episodes of Game of Thrones on it.

my favourite "lighter" series now is Suits by a million miles.

Sopranos – Still not seen it properly, keep saying I’ll sit down and watch it over a few weeks one day.
The Wire – Watched the first two series, fantastic. One of the few series I really enjoyed. Really well made, the antidote to so much rubbish out here, real and gritty. Believable characters.
Breaking Bad – Not seen this yet but heard good things, will watch soon.
24 – Never seen it, doesn’t appeal.
Prison Break – Seriously. Seriously?! I mean come on, what a load of rubbish. I’d rather turn the TV off, pour a large scotch, turn down the lights and listen to music.
