The wire is easily the best, as I said in my article. It's not even close really. I have seen the whole thing twice and second time I picked up so much more. It's just so clever and deep.

can't believe Dexter isn't on this list. and no way should 24 be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of the Sopranos, Breaking Bad or the Wire
----
Dexter starts so well but the latest couple of series have let the whole thing down. Really poor from the creators. Dexter becomes half superhero half sloppy criminal
im a big fan of criminal minds

Dexter's not as good as it was, but it's still top notch
Breaking Bad is amazing, just started season 5 a couple of days ago i introduced a friend to it about a week ago and she's already finished the first 4 seasons
btw, anyone else seen the Killing(the original Danish version)? imo deffo up there with the best
Soprano - I still need to watch it.
Prison break - Couldnt get into it after season 2
Breaking bad - Very good but recently have been a bit of a let down compared to previous seasons.
24 - Heard good things but still need to watch
The wire - Same as above.
GoT - is awesome but a year wait for 10 episodes is such a tease. I know the book isnt completed yet but still!
Dexter - Watched 4 seasons then I couldnt hack it anymore.
What do people think of 2 and half men?
2 and a half men is funny as feck
Why is Sons of Anarchy not on your list??? Class class series!
24 is prob the all time best, the wire is good but the sopranos and breaking bad are better!
What about battlestar anyone????

Think I watched about 10 episodes with Ashton Kutcher to give it a go, but decided I'd rather watch myself age.
anyone else seen Chuck? been watching it on and off for about a month now, good fun
I only watched the last season of The Wire which probably doesn't do it justice so will have to get cracking on the rest at some point.
I'm addited to Suits and Merlin for lighter viewing. Merlin is a a bit like a kids show but so gripping.

i dont think its much different to be honest.
for me the best two characters in the programme are Alan and Berta anyway.
Kutcher isnt that bad.

I agree with Dunc. Charlie Sheen was never really that funny anyway so it's about the same as it always was - i.e. ok.
The only show that I was able to watch over twice is Entourage. Loved that show.
Another show I may watch over twice is Suits. Harvey Spector is just a legend.
Best comedy tv show I have watched has to go out to Arrested Development.
Wire, Breaking Bad, Sopranos all decent. Anyone been watching Hannibal?
is Hannibal worth watching? been hearing really mized reports about it
the one i need to watch at some point is the Following
Defninitely worth giving a try yeah. Best I can describe it is an American twist on BBC's Sherlock, but more gore.
I don't particularly like horror films etc, but this is the one I'm into at the moment.
Hannibal is amazing, defo worth a watch
gratedbean, sorry you talking about Hannibal or the Following there?
speaking of horror, i've had season 1 of Supernatural been sitting in my desk since Christmas, is that worth watching?
