My first choice would be Hodgson, it really would.
If he can keep the players he'll do well I reckon. He'll probably bring Kone with him and him and Jelavic could do well. Everton have a bit more money than before and they may even start to play decent football.
Mcmanaman is a certainty isn't he? Everton fan, faith shown by Martinez...
Won't stop Fellaini elbowing 10 times a game
I'd love if old bill was stupid enough to give Phil neville the job, I'd put the house on them going down if he did that.
He's a good pro and his brothers a good pundit ergo he'd be a good manager
Martinez is a decent manager, but Everton's success will depend largely on who leaves this Summer. They are likely to bring in McManaman, but if Baines and/or Fellaini leave they'll struggle to replace them.
Martinez will get them playing football at least, he will need a very good assistant and defensive coaches though. Its going to be a massive transition pretty much like trying to get Stoke to play like Barca.
I see the reds still harbour resentment towards Martinez for rejecting them.
Struggle to replace Fellaini?
Doubt it, Baines.......any team would miss that quality attacking FB but I see Coleman as abother great find.
I think he is a good manager.
I think he will struggle a bit next season though. He is very different to Moyes in many ways, and Moyes has been there so long that it will take some time for the players to adjust to his methods.
Its a bit like BR taking over here, apart from we had already had a few years of transition. Martinez is taking over a stable club, so in a way that will make it more difficult to get his ideas across quickly.
I think Everton will drop next season while the squad changes a bit and the players get used to Martinez. How low they drop, and how the fans react, will determine how Martinez does.
If Everton fans are patient and allow him to change the team the way he wants for the long term then I think he will do well.
If their expectations are too high and they get on his back then he could be in trouble.
Its a brave choice by Kenwright to take them in a very different, more continental direction, than Moyes ever did, it will serve them well in Europe, should they get there again, but domestically it will lead to instability.
Colemans a cracking player it took dozy old trap far too long to realize it.

Funny how some RS predicted gloom for us if we lose the likes of Fellaini, but can see positive side of selling Suarez.
The official site claims it's not done deal yet.
I think both Everton and Liverpool are better when there is no player rocking the boat, Everton are the more together team at the moment and it showed this season.
Will get big money for Fellaini or baines....
So will trust Martinez to find suitable replacements.
Wow, the end of hoof ball at Goodison who would have thought it?
Lambert could be a good manager for Everton if Martinez didn't work out - it was hairy for Villa at times last season, but I think that now they've survived that, they could really grow under Lambert.
Obviously I want Pulis to take over at some stage, though. The thought of Everton fans turning up to watch 11 meatheads thumping the ball aimlessly into the air whilst Pulis trudges up and down the sideline in with that risible cap on his turnip head is too much to handle, it would be hilarious.
And you just know they'd sign Cameron Jerome, too.

Uproariously funny lack of self-awareness for you to say something like this.
He might take Maloney with him to Everton. Looks a good player and wont cost much. McCarthy too. Young lads deffo prem standard so could see him making the move.
Lambert wouldn't go to Everton. No bigger than Villa.

But when its thumped forward to Sturridge or Suarez its a measured through ball.
Everton will need to make sure they don't let Martinez anywhere near the defence.

Maloney's 30 mate, I wouldn't say he's that young

In fairness, there's a difference between a 50 yard pass that Steven Gerrard pings out to Sturridge's feet, and Phil Jagielka sending an up-and-under for Fellaini to contest with a centre-back.
