I would say Funhouse is the most overrated TV show ever.

With you on the desperately bored without football bit and Friends. I never got into it. Well over hyped for me.

Most reality TV shows also. Some ok, most cack.

Friends was quite funny for its time but hasnt aged well at all.

I like friends Jennifer Aniston.... I love her..... anyway

24 seems ok, just started to watch that after all the hype, i'll give it a series at a time as its on the mrs lovefilm package!

I've been watching X-Files recently and thats pretty good although sculy recovering from cancer in a day is a bit mind boggling..

my worst TV shows are the reality ones, these singing ones like the voice and xfactor are so fake its a disgrace. seeing Jessie J on there acting sad or happy when really she couldn't give 2 shlts about her contestants.. having to listen to the mrs make comments like "oh they're so good, they deserve it etc etc blah blah blah" at least football is actually real....

All the American ones that people rave about. Probably. Not that I watch them.

Peep Show is underrated

Anyone ever watched Mike and Molly? Biggest piece of carp ever. All American sitcoms (Two and a Half Men, Whitney) and any many of the British ones (MyFamily esp.) are just terrible.

I do like 24 but Kim, and especially her mother were so stupid it was unbearable. Who when being chased drives away from population, parks down a quiet track over a cliff so the car- with your daughter in it- rolls off exploding at the bottom?? She then collapses losing her memory, terrible stuff

Do you know what programme I think is overrated?

The news. It's not funny, there's no real plot, the characters are one-dimensional and it just looks cheap and badly made.

It was somewhat ironic to have been won by a group of Danes

The Big Bang Theory isn't particularly funny. But it's pretty addictive.

Two and half men with Charlie Sheen was excellent TV.
Ashton kutcher though is pathetic.

Bit controversial but I think Game of Thrones is pretty poor television.

The characters are so one dimensional you just know how they are going to act in every situation they are thrown into. While the author of the books (which I haven't read so I reserve judgement) has tried to state he wanted to make a more real, gritty story that wasn't just another good triumphs over evil story, the programmes characters can still be divided into good, honourable characters and bad-for-the-sake-of-being-bad characters (with a couple of exceptions).

It is not a bad show, don't get me wrong. But it is terribly overrated.

Bring back Richard and Dom in da Bungalow. Admins please unban the Richard word as long as it is used with Dom.

I find most sitcoms painful, the British ones are bad, the American are even worse. I like the old ones like Only Fools…

My Mrs just watches so much American rubbish: Suits, Revenge, Castle I can’t really think of anymore but there seems to be a constant stream. I personally would rather have the TV off and listen to Music most of the time, for TV I have preference for documentaries, particularly nature and science ones. Sometimes it gets to the point where I go ‘you can watch what ever you like so long as it isn’t American’. Thankfully she doesn’t like reality TV.

Friends is awful. I find it hard to stomach any programme which A.) has such self obsessed characters and B.) such obvious formulated jokes. Don’t get me started on S in the city which now has an *outright ban in my house (*she can watch on the laptop in the bathroom). I just want to shake them, so obsessed out their no existent problems. Idiots.

Whereas you appear to only get worked up by the important things in life.

Friends is a genius sitcom. People who don't like it should stick to watching Mr.bean.

Prison break - truly awful show
24 is no better then that CSI muck all garbage

Don't like the big bang theory myself but I know plenty of people do.

Also Revenge and that psycho rip off thing Bates motel, terrible shows
