"I just want to shake them, so obsessed out their no existent problems. Idiots."
Whereas you appear to only get worked up by the important things in life.
============================
Hardly the same thing.
Family Guy is decent, but the guy has got away with murder in the way he has basically just taken the Simpsons and adapted it to make it suit a different audience with jokes that are much more offensive.
Peter Griffin fighting a chicken seems to be raved about as if it's one of the most funny things on TV, I seriously don't get it. I find Peter hilarious at times, bu the chicken fight is so boring.
I'm like that with films too- I hate 10 minute fighting scenes when I know the good guy isn't going to die anyway, it just bores me.
I´ll probably get some stick for this but I found The Wire to be a bit boring.
Tried to get into it but jound found it a bit depressing as well.
Here's mine
Walking Dead.
Scandal.
Revenge
The first one is ok, the other 2 are pure garbage.
I saw the first 10 mins of Wire pilot it was boring, Superb. Haven't seen the rest...
Doctor Who is decent but has got worse in my opinion. Ecclestone was my first Doctor and he's still my favourite, I liked Tennant more and more as he went on and thought he was great by the time he left. Smith is decent but some of the writing is just so boring (the River Song storyline I JUST. DON'T. CARE)
'Chucklevision'
Bodger and Badger
That's what I'm looking for in a TV show, homework.

The Wire is arguably the best TV show ever made.
Now, it is a 'slow-burner' but if you keep with it, you will be infinitely rewarded.
Think we can all come to a unanimous agreement that Father Ted is one of the greatest, if not the best.
Disagree at your peril.
think the thing about the Wire is that it's not fast paced and you shouldn't watch it expecting a fast paced show. the genius of shows like the Wire lies in the show's genius and just how clever and realistic it is
i made this mistake with Breaking Bad, because i was expecting an edge of your seat thriller in the mould of Dexter and as such i was seriously under-whelmed by it first time i saw it
Superb – I actually liked the Wire and this the hype was justified but I can understand it isn’t for everybody. I liked it because it felt believable and the characters felt believable too. I remember when a load of mates shared a house and they’d all watch Prison Break and I just couldn’t get my head around why they were in to it. The Wire, for me at least almost seemed like the antidote to those other shows. That said, it did take me quite a while to get it to it but then I think perhaps the ‘slow burner’ thing is part of the appeal as apposed to the instant gratification and almost gimmicky nature of some alternatives.
On a serious note. Fresh Prince of Bel Air was quality throughout.
Friends - Never even managed to laugh politely at it. It's violently awful.
Game of Thrones - I've not seen a single second of it, but i can't mention the word 'TV' without several thousand people SCREAMING 'GAME OF THRONES....GEM UF THROOOONZ.....WATCH GEHM OF THROWNS...WATCH IT....DO IT....OH MY GOD.....GEM OF THROOOONES'
It would have to be literally the greatest show ever to overturn my resentment towards it.
Plenty of other shows, but i feel i've wound myself up enough already.

Father Ted, now there's an overrated show.
When Rooney, Bale and Gerrard are on it I'd say match of the day is pretty overrated.
Did anyone watch ‘Luck’ the HBO show by Michael Mann about the seedy side of horseracing? Starred Dustin Hoffmann? I watched a few and it had a real quality feel to it although I didn’t quite get in to it, missed a few episodes and gave up. Might be worse a box set session though.
Agree Chelsea. 'Do you believe in God then Ted' ?

Yeah its pretty terrible gag. However I wouldn't say its a complete rip of the Simpsons, as Family Guy makes more pop culture references and relies more on re-occurring jokes. I prefer the characters on Family Guy too, it has more people you can laugh AT. I hate the majority of the Simpsons characters, especially the family. Marge is really boring, Lisa just annoys me, and Bart is probably the most punchable character ever. I'm a grown man, but i ever met a child like that i would back hand him, I wouldn't care hes a child, its an obnoxious brat. Only Homer and a few others are actually funny.
Game of Thrones is trash but ridiculously addictive
Bluedroog, 'Luck' was discontinued.
Apparently, it encountered all sorts of problems - horses were dying during shooting etc
So only one season!
