To be perfectly honest Spurs are running out of decent available strikers now.
------
are we?
how is that so? there have been barely any striker transfers so far this summer...
especially not ones that would be a good fit for spurs anyway.
i can think of one... david villa...
who else has moved that we were looking to bring in?
therefore i dont understand how we are suddenly running out of options? i think you more mean that the daily mail are running out of options of people to link us to.

Chelsea won't give us a player, considering the fact we didn't sell them Luka
Benteke is the best target at the moment, and the only one for me, unless we look at Loic Remy

-------
you obviously wont... who said that you would?
we were simply comparing the abilities of lukaku, ba and benteke...
did you actually read the comments properly?
Adey will have a good season, he will get double figures. Defoe's time is up for me
-----
i actually agree with this... but he looks to be off... and even if he stayed we would need to bring in a better striker i think.

Only problem is Remy has a r_ape charge outstanding against him
Hernandez plays the lone striker in a front 3 for Mexico and usually does well for them. Great finisher, good with his head and pretty quick.
If I had the choice, it would probably be Benteke. Younger, quicker and scored a lot of goals with a poor team around him. No doubt he'd only improve in our side.
You can't say last season was a fluke. You just don't fluke that many goals or flukily play consistently well all season.
remy isnt back in court until september i think.. therefore forget about him...
no way is levy going to buy a man who could be off to the slammer.

Galv,
Tell me about your time in the slammer?
---------
galv kept dropping the soap
Mexico play drab sides like Costa Rica and Peru
They ain't getting 25million for him unless mugs like chelsea or city get involved
I would take him for £17m tops, given that he went to Villa for £7m only a year before. Also by declaring his desire to leave it is for the best interest of the club to take the profit and reinforce as soon as possible, which they won't do if the drag out negotiations

The first night's the toughest, no doubt about it. They march you in naked as the day you were born, skin burning and half blind from that delousing sheit they throw on you, and when they put you in that cell... and those bars slam home... that's when you know it's for real. A whole life blown away in the blink of an eye. Nothing left but all the time in the world to think about it.
---------
when did you get out of shawshank?
22, 19 Premier League goals and ambitious
17 - 25 million easy
£25m as a straight deal is far too much.
I'd be happy with say, £18m rising to £25m depending on:
a) number of appearances = + 30 per season (ono).
b) number of goals = + 15 per season (ono).
c) Spurs qualify for CL twice during contract period.
Would be happy with that.
