Arsenal..Liverpool, so far apart?

Why do you bet you don't get sensible remarks?

To not have Wilshere and Cazorla in that team is absurd.

Arsenal have a far superior squad and manager

Liverpool are a fair distance behind.

Why do you have "Toure/Kos" as if they're too close to call that you can't make your mind up?

Kolo Toure is steady but nothing special: even Skrtel is arguably as good as him, arguably. Whereas Koscielny is a top central defender.

Furthermore, Cazorla is Arsenal's best player and he's not in the team?

Tbf, I did forget carzola.....but can I put him in ahead of gerrard or coutinho????

If going 4-4-2 put Podolski up top for Sturridge, and Cazorla in Podolski position. Koscielny for definite. Wilshere easily better than Coutinho, but will give you benefit of doubt because he has been injured and not playing his best.

Carzola is far better than gerrard and Coutinho.

You must realise when a spurs fan is defending Arsenal you are completely delusional

Agger, mignolet and Suarez are the only Liverpool players even close to getting in arsenal team

I was being quite generous with my team btw, I could quite easily swap Sturridge for Theo

Cazorla > Liverpool

I don't think the gap in class between the two is as big as some Arsenal fans make out, however, I don't think it is as close as you make out either.

We can do the whole combined 11/squad rubbish but it's really not a reflection of how good a team is, in my opinion.

What is important is how well the team plays, and at the moment the gap in class isn't the greatest but Arsenal are far more adept at winning football matches.

It's a question of mentality as well as ability. Liverpool's results in many games last season did not reflect their performances, but it's a results business and there are no guarantees that will change - but Liverpool fans have grounds to be optimistic.

Arsenal and Spurs are better teams than Liverpool at the moment. That doesn't mean Liverpool cannot challenge them or finish above them, it will just be hard.

Also tbh, I wouldn't put Gerrard in my team, but it's debatable so I'll give it to you. Sagna is still marginally better then Johnson.

You was being hugely generous lmao, Szczesny and Ramsey

id go with this

----------------Mignolet
Johnson--Kosc--Agger--Gibbs
-----------------Lucas
-----------Coutinho-Wilshere
Walcott-----------------------Cazorla
-----------------Suarez

Could easily have Enrique Gezza Sturridge in that team though but i'd go with that.

Carzola......12 goals, 11 assists, 38 games
Coutinho....3 goals, 5 assists, 13 games

Carzola played 3x as many games, if you x coutinhos stats by 3 ( I know, I know he hasnt played that many...but its not too unreasonable) you get;

9 goals, 15 assists for coutinho. However, for the purpose of this little comparison carzola deserves to go in based on his 38 games being played...i will amend.

Just because you are ignorant to how Ramsey performed last season does not mean he is poor. To completely show up our fans and for them to change opinion on him, shows he's improved immensely in itself.

Why do people persist with this combined 11 rubbish as if it's important?

posted on 28/7/13

It's not. It's just fun

Same could be said about Henderson, and I bet his stats at better too. But you lot like to at him, glass houses. I stood by Ramsey while you lot slated him infact, but even so I wouldn't put him in the combined best 11 !
