It takes 5 years for an apple tree to grow before it gives off fruit. I didn't think it was that long.

I thought it took about 16 weeks for it to pollenate? My uncle used to grow it and they'd be bigger than him by the end if summer.
He and my mother agreed tort me grow one when I was about 14, until I started bringing loads if kids back from school to show them
Somebody got in his garden and robbed one once.
Meh, I don't smoke too often these days, thought it would be nice to have my own supply though.
