Liverpool finishing 5th?

No, just no.

Spurs are highly better than Liverpool.

Liverpool

City drop from second to fourth? As much as I'd love that to happen, I just can't see it. Manuel is a good manager, better than Mancini. They're certainly going to be more leaky at the back though, conceded 13 goals in pre-season so far I think.

My top six

Chelsea
Man Utd
Man City
Spurs
Liverpool
Arsenal

if Saurez does leave then Arsenal will finnish above them. But i do think the league will be allot closer this season

Can only see it between united and city again.
One manager I can't see making up a 13 point gap or whatever it was.
Chelsea have been miles off the pace the last 2 yrs and they haven't bought anyone of note to improve them dramatically.
IMO city just ahead of united then the rest

8bit - they are talking about how it will finish. Not how it looks now as its in alphabetical order at the start of the season

Pains me to say it - but write off Man U at your peril

Still hard to predict, I would have to go:

City
Chelsea
United

Arsenal
Spurs
Liverpool

One things simply writing an order out doesn't do is give an indication of how close it may be. I see two groups there with City, Chelsea and United going to the wire for the title, with Spurs, Arsenal and probably Liverpool being reasonable close to each other, but of the pace of the top 3.

Despite Spurs' activity, I think creativity is an issue, not to mention the centre back predicament.

United will suffer this season - any team would losing one of the greatest managers of all time. A midfield signing could make a difference.

I don't think Mourinho will be the great saviour at Chelsea, and currently not having a first choice striker is an issue, though that could all change in the next couple of weeks.

City have the strongest squad in my view - Pellegrini is a slightly unknown quantity in the premier league, but has good pedigree and think they'll have the strength to go the distance.

Arsenal had some excellent form at the end of last season, and have a solid base of players, but that needs to be built on for us to push on - the squad is paper thin, and even a couple of injuries could cause us nightmares.

Liverpool have added to their squad, although to what extent they will be improved is unclear. Two seasons ago Dalglish showed "ambition" by spending over the odds on players and we were all told that Liverpool would be a real force - they weren't, but whether Rogers' buys have been more astute (they were certainly cheaper) remains to be seen at the moment.

City
United

Liverpool

I think Arsenal will be closer to the top 3 than last season, although United may be 5-10 points behind City, and Spurs will run us close as usual. Only reason Liverpool even make 6th is because Everton will suffer from having lost Moyes rather than Liverpool getting any better. If they lose Suarez then Everton for 6th.

4. Man Utd (only just)

1st- Chelsea
I may be biased but Mourinho being back witha young promising squad who will only improve, I can't see past them. But it won't be as straight forward as I'd like it to be

2nd- United
RVP will have a lot for weight to carry now SAF has gone but they'll do it somehow

3rd- City
Manuel will need a bit of time to adjust, dodgy first season.

4th- Arsenal
And they'll celebrate like they won the world cup...

5th- Liverpool
Good business in the summer etc, promising future bla bla bla bla

6th- Crystal Palace
kevin Phillips for golden boot with a record 69 goals.

theres a few factors involved that could still change things around, but if i were predicting right now id go with this

1. Chelsea
2. City
3. United
4. Spurs
5. Arsenal
6. Liverpool

We've bought back 4 players from loan on top of the additions we've made in the transfer window and our main problem last season other than leaking goals late in the game was squad depth which we've fixed now

Still don't think you have improved dramatically. Don't see Chelsea as a massive threat personally. Just my opinion. I honestly think the Manchester clubs are a bit ahead of the rest and will be fighting it out again.

We don't need to improve dramatically our first XI is more than good enough
