In fact they didn't get us doing much maths tbh, it all revolved around theory. I picked one area (environment) where I'm pretty strong and just focused on that all semester.

I love the theory personally. Really enjoying A-level Economics. My maths is not degree standard though and I prefer a qualititive approach hence the Political Economics.
As for the unis:
Kings
Reading
Birmingham
Essex
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So would that be like case-studies over grand theory approaches?? Like would you take each event as an individual one?
Sounds like a good selection, I got accepted by Birmingham but a load of nobs were going so I chose not to

So he went to Aberdeen instead
On target for my intended universities

I got the grades to go to Oxbridge (although I don't think I'd have got through the admissions interview, hate that sort of thing). I chose Aberdeen with for perfectly rational reasons!
Where abouts are you looking at??
Why not York? Be more at home surely
