Now me on the other hand. ive got so bad that i need to start controlling my racism. last year i found out i was being racist without even knowing. thats what happens when you spend so much time with a guy who loves those types of jokes
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah but if you're saying it as a joke, then surely you know it's not true

tbh i dont agree with people not voting. i get why they want to do it but when you see people fighting for their vote in other countries you kinda got to appreciate what you've got.

i think the only real way of getting through to them is everyone voting on 1 unlikely party.

tbh im not sure but just think non participation is right

Yeah tonight in your head I imagine!

Quite simply it is fundamentally flawed in practically every way.

I dunno, I think it comes down to a) Whether you think humans are inherently good, and b) If so, can they achieve this?

Personally I think humans are good, social beings, but I don't think it's an achievable goal within today's western society. You can see communism working in tribes which haven't been tainted by capitalism etc. So I do think it can work, but just, not for us.

Communism is intended to be introduced to a democratically perfect society not a libertarian capitalist world we live in
----------------------------------------------------------------------
By the very nature of Marx's epochs communism has to come at a point of crisis.

It was the Banks fault! Bloody Wãnkers!

Labour could have done with keeping some money aside though.

Isn't the American reserve absolutely tiny in comparison to what it requires? Like if they used the reserves to boost the market it would last days or something (could be wrong)

while the banks were a major problem and the major issue involved, i dont think you can just excuse labour. they didnt improve the situation in fact made it worse. they used keysian theory. which is proven not to work.

I've argued that in certain circumstances it is a possibility. You get tribes that share everything they own etc. I don't believe it could work on a large scale society though. Has to be within tiny groups.

After the fall of the capitalist oppression and the dark days as anarchy crosses the land a single spark will arise and give hope to thousands. The words of communism shall spread and engulf the heart and souls of all that it touches, guiding them away from the dark and into the light and as it spreads it shall destine the new dawn of man, a dawn of a new era. The era of equality and justice shall begin

Not on this planet I'm afraid

We are all self centred beings, it can't work, we are animals after all.

I'm afraid the communist ship has sailed and sunk. Thankfully for the oppressed of the East!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I really don't think we are self-centred. I agree with Marxist writing that society completely shapes us into this competitive being. I think humans are fairly inert, and can quite easily be shaped to be altruistic as opposed to greedy.
