Politics, Law and Media should all be taken as degrees, weak A levels.
(I'm aware IT is before you slate me!)

Completely disagree, politics should be taught at GCSE. Politics should be taught to as many people as possible, not restricted even further.

People at my school who take Law swagger around like they are qualified lawyers!
I take Economics but it doesn't mean I can do an Economics degree or become an economist!

... Just be easier if everything stayed the same price. Inflation just seems stupid
If house prices rise, less people will invest in them. they need investment in this country so if the house prices are kept down the people will speculate that in the future they'll rise and be able to sell it at a higher profit.
though it also depends on inflation.

if the demand is high then prices will rise. simple economics
yeah but we cant just lower it, it depends on other factors such as inflation, interest rates, demand, supply, etc
I wish our restaurants were like american restaurants. when i went there you got free refills everywhere.
remember drinking sprite at a restarant there. had about a little to drink. turned to talk to my dad. 2 mins later turn back and the waitress had already gone and refilled it without asking me lol
I know we should put in a Tobin Tax economics
they wont want to increase supply if prices are low thats the thing
