Wenger has done a lot for the club overall, that cannot be denied. He did a good job for the first 12 years of his tenure, but the last 5 years have been a right mess and although it's not all been down to him for us regressing, he has played a big factor in it with his stubborn principles (both on and off the pitch).

He's given us some wonderful moments but his time is up and it has been for a while. These comments don't do him any favours, either.

Dude all I'm trying to say is, we (through whatever sources they were, possibly his agent wanting to get the ball rolling) were led to believe there was a release clause. The misinformation made us look silly, derisory however you want to portray it. Wenger likes a bargain so why would you offer more when the asking price was allegedly just over 40m? We all know now this wasn't the case

Wenger couldn't manage a Plc. He is working on a false dichotomy.

Why would major sponsors give money to a club with no big stars? The only way Nike, or Puma can justify giving millions is if they get endorsements from top stars that encourage the common folk to buy their goods.

The publicity and hype that goes with the big stars is what attracts money. Wenger couldn't manage a sweet shop.

Btw, Di Maria started for Madrid today. Not a great sign when the transfer window is meant to close tomorrow.

Samir how has it been a right mess!? We've achieved champions league every year without fail during the transitional period of moving to a new stadium and star players becoming impatient. This is the first year we have kept our players. If we're still in the same boat in a year or two then yes questions should be asked. We've already been written off this season (again) Wenger does know best or hw certainly knows a lot more than the plastics and media sponges that claim to support the team yet boo their players during a match.

I would be happy with Ozil and Casillas from Madrid and a striker from somewhere else.

Thatman I would give a detailed response back to that as quite frankly you're putting a positive spin on what has ultimately been a failure in my eyes, but I'm on my phone so will reply later.

Btw it looks obvious to me that C. Ronaldo belongs in a central role. His goal was very typical of CF.

If Ancelotti is keeping Di Maria and Isco and C. Ronaldo and Bale suggests Benzema is expendable. And I know he is starting!

Ronaldo doesn't want to play as a CF.

C. Ronaldo wants to do what Messi does. And I am watching the game before I leave for the Emirates.

Hopefully, it's easily been the most boring transfers in the history football, ever!

Even Ronaldo was sorted before this

Spurs don't trust that Madrid have the money. Which is correct. Especially since you haven't got the payments for Modric on time.
