Remy > Sturridge tbh

Sturridge is not better than Ba or even Torres. Don't make me laugh.
He's around the same level.

Ba is the new Sturridge now.

" and has very good technique when striking the ball. "

Dastudogg
Though I respect your opinion, that couldn't be wider off the mark.
The guy's shooting technique is below par. Probably he's weakness.

He scored another one last night. Did anyone see it though? Another charity pass he took advantage of.

_______________

Goal is goal. Its from open play.

Sturridge is a decent striker, mobile, pacey and always in the right place. I like him.

17 goals from 21 games "below par shooting technique"

Ok whatever you say

think a big part of the hye come from the fact tht he comfortably outscores the striker we bought to replace him!

Sturridge is much better than Ba and Torres.

a one legged statue is better than Torres

tbh Sturridge is over-rated, his all round play leaves alot to be desired. he infuriated us Chelsea fans with his selfish play and showboating

having said that, can't really argue he's better than all our current options

Sturridge is better. Maybe not much better, but definitely better.

Sturridge is much better than Ba and Torres, what is Dubbed going on about

17 goals in 21 games

Fack me what's he gotta do?

He's class

edb0, i'd honestly take Adebayor over Torres

i think Sturridge is over-rated but he still 5.hits over Ba and Torres

Of course Sturridge is better than Torres on current form, but in terms of ability, Torres wins hands down. Shame he lost his ability a few years back.

Torres has lost it, he's best off going back to Spain and reviving his career

I'm surprised you say that.

Whenever I've seen him, he seems to be able to generate fantastic power in his shots with very little backlift.

Agree, expect to see him back at Athletico Madrid within 2 years.

Another guy who uses stats as means of judgement. It's astounding the amount of people who do this.

Disagree.

A) Why would they want him back, he's terrible.

B) He has almost 3 years left on a 175k p/w deal. No chance he'll abandon that early.

So if Ozil went the 30 games with no assists and no goals you'd still consider him world class?

Torres is terrible tbf.

I will henceforth ignore Thudd. It'll be like I filtered him.

Maybe the fuss is about stuff like, 12 goals in the last 10 games for Liverpool.
20 odd yard tap in against Stoke, fantasticly skillful goal against Villa, instinctive back header against united, and great anticipation last night.
He also scored a variety or goals last season, from delicate chips, to powerful shots from around the edge of the area, and also the afor mentioned tap ins.
Sounds like the perfect allround striker to me.
As for Torres, he would have been trudging back toward the halfway line looking at the ground when Shelvey played that backpass last night.
He seriously needs to think about retiring from the game, hes done and dusted in terms of being a top class striker, and exists only in 4 year old YouTube videos from his time at Liverpool.
Feel sorry for the lad to be honest.
