Barrera was around when Prince Naseem was fighting aged 27. That shows how long past his prime he was when coming up against Khan 8 years later
Watched that fight again. Barerra v Naseem. Naseem took his defeat with class. Didnt blame anyone like samba boy.

MAB is the same age as Marquez and Morales.

Vik - I suggested Trout as someone who would be a bigger test than Khan. You laughed at Trout, so I pointed out that Cotto is a better win than anyone on Khan's record. This is a fact. If you think Khan poses more of a threat to Floyd than Trout, that's up to you, but I think you are very misguided.

"MAB is the same age as Marquez and Morales."

So? Every fighter has his peak times.

Khan never blamed others either, and has admitted his mistakes.

At least Khan has gone into hiding or gone on drug binges like Hamed and Hatton.

Khan blames anyone but himself; Roach, "lucky punch", etc.
Guy's a deluded idiot just like his fans.

Cotto was past his prime, and struggled to get motivated for Trout.

He blamed roach then said his Parkinson's is affecting his ability to train him

The guy is a double world champion.

With one of the best jabs in boxing and the fastest hands.

"He blamed roach then said his Parkinson's is affecting his ability to train him"

Further showing how classless this clown is.

Sounds a lot like Hatton.

One of the fastest hands I'll give you. But among the best jabs?
You're having a laugh.

Trout vs Mayweather, I'd rather watch paint dry.

If you thought the Guererro and Canelo fights stunk the place out, this fight will turn the MGM into tumbleweed city.

Guererro and Canelo fights were clinics. Real fans don't find clinics boring.
Only casual ones do.

Real men like fights, not shows.

Go and watch the UFC then.

Khan has a better jab than floyd mayweather WOW

Go watch strictly come dancing, you will like that.

D4's hopes are pinned on Khan, now that his boy Pacquiao fell asleep.
He feels the need to inflate Khan's ability which is very little.

That always goes to the judges as well

Floyd should grow a pair and step up and face fighter of the decade Manny Pacquiao but Floyd is too scared of the beaten he will take.

And internationally this fight doesn't garner much interest. This thread has so many comments because this is a english football forum and most posters don't have a clue. If it wasn't for khan fan boys this discussion would have died after one page.

Khan is a big star state side, he has a bigger following over there than he does here.

Khan brings excitement to boxing, something Mayweather fights lacks

posted on 13/10/13

He is well known, but obviously not as well known as he is here. Big difference is Americans are not blinded by fanboy-ism when it comes to Khan, like many brits are. American fans are far from excited about this fight because it is obvious Khan has no chance.

Khan has boxed on HBO several times, had has been involved in Fight the year and fight of the year contenders.

Americans appreciate Khan's style and the excitement he brings.

Khan is one of the biggest names in boxing.
