Idiots, complaining Khan doesn't deserve a fight with Mayweather

How come you haven't got by now Mayweather cherry picks his fights, the fans don't gets a say the governing bodies don't get a say it is Floyd's and Haymon's decision.

Otherwise we would have Pacquiao vs Mayweather a long time ago.

The only requirements Khan has to bring is to be at least 80% beatable and bring in the cash.

Deserves.............. You are all so deluded.

Khan and Pac have a lot in common? What?

Pacs last two fights were Marquez and Bradley, Khan fought carlos molina and julio diaz, and looked crap in both fights. I won't even bother addressing your comparison of their resumes.

Anyway, it isn't Khan's fault. He is going to make a lot of money. But this fight is a remismatch. Floyd should be fighting at light middle from now on. Trout?

SLS, Did you actually watch the Khan v Molina fight? He won every round before stopping him. He wasn't a great opponent but was unbeaten.

Julio Diaz was a good fight against a good opponent who before Khan had drawn against Shaun Porter. Khan won by UD against a good opponent who had 2 good rounds where he put Khan down with a clean shot and I think round 11 when he almost got him again but these things happen in boxing unless you fight like Mayweather.

This a joke right? They're comparing the amateurish Khan to an ATG in in Pacquiao.

Honestly I can't even understand that guy has fans or even backers.

The guy has nothing going for him bar speed. Don't know where they got the 'offensively talented' line either.
He just throws flurries, trying to overwhelm his opponents.

That's what I see too.
Plenty of airshots. 1 maybe lands. The other 75,000 dont. Then he just throws himself forward, completely missing the guy with his shots and ends up headbutting him by accident.

I think people's dislike for Mayweather is causing them to overrate Khan.

Khan poses literally no threat. The guy is just gonna be a walking punching bag.

Mayweather's consistently dealt with far superior fighters than this guy. He doesn't belong in that ring with him.

Kash - Diaz is an average fighter. He isn't anywhere near elite level. He floored Khan and came close to stopping him. Thst was Khan's most recent showing. How can you watch that and say that he is a tough fight for Mayweather? The number one guy in the sport? It is ridiculous.

Dubbed correct me if I am wrong but no one on this thread has actually said that Khan can win. Vik has put up some decent points as to why Khan can make a decent fight of this in a losing cause.

His chin is not that bad and most fighters when they get his flush by a big puncher will find it hard to get back up. His issue has always been a poor defence and boxing intelligence which is where Virgil will have to earn his money and prepare a gameplan.

As for belonging in the ring, many fighters that Floyd has handpicked did not belong in the ring. Floyd is looking for another easy night and making money out of Khan with the British PPV money. There is no other British fighter for Floyd to challenge that is well known in the US.

Lord - You are laughing at Trout? Trout has a win over Cotto. That is a better win than anyone on Khan's resume.

"when was the last time mayweather fought someone with khans speed?"

Judah.
But you're overrating speed massively. Especially when you look at the style of Khan which is to throw pitty patty punches with no zing behind them. And you have to look at the fact that even now Mayweather would rival Khan in that department, possibly even be quicker.

Nonetheless, no point in having speed if you don't know how to use it.
A tortoise in Garcia neutralised it with timing. What do you think someone as sharp and quick as Mayweather would do to him?

He never came close to stopping Khan. He put Khan on the floor but never hurt him enough to get a stoppage. Diaz was a decent opponent for Khan, he is a puncher, ex world champion and has been in with some of the best. How he is average is beyond me.

Khan has a glass jaw. Even when he doesn't topple to the canvas, he gets rocked badly by most clean shots. His recovery ability is even worse. Once he takes a clean shot he is on shaky legs for like 2-3 rounds. He got put down by julio diaz in his last fight ffs. How can anyone say his chin is not that bad!!

Is that obvious? I support Pakistan in cricket if you check my profile.

Guess that explains why you're so behind Khan then. I respect your support for your fellow countryman. But your boy is nothing special.

I cant even remember the Diaz fight but here's the BBC's commentary on round 11

"The whole complexion of the fight has changed in the last few rounds, with Julio Diaz looking for the knockout. Another flurry of punches crash into Khan's head and the Bolton boxer is in serious trouble. He's being pummelled now - running away from Diaz's clubbing combinations. How has he not gone down? It's all about survival now as the 33-year-old Mexican continues to dominate."

Richie Woodhall, BBC Sport boxing pundit at ringside for BBC Radio 5 live sports extra

"How did Amir Khan get through that round and survive all that? He got caught with four or five biog shots. Jis legs were rubbery and he hung on for dear life. He was almost out of his feet. Boy has he grown up, Amir Khan. He got through the round and clawed his way back. But that was a 10-8 round for Diaz."

I dont think Khan has a good chin and he cannot take any shots. Anyone bigger will have knocked him out which they have done.

Khan keeps saying. He got caught with a lucky shot. Its a lucky shot every time with him.

Which is another reason people can't stand this clown.
The arrogance and superiority complex he possesses is not in proportion with his ability, and is misplaced.
Sore loser too.
