I'm not pinning my hopes on Khan at all.
Floyd has to fight Pacquiao but no doubt he duck that fight again, and take the easier option as always.
But does have a good jab and has the speed advantage over Mayweather, which will cause Floyd problems.
And Khan does not struggle with counter punchers.
These are the facts and you can't seem to come up with any counter points against them.

Well Danny Garcia is on a hot streak right now. He for one certainly deserves it much more than Khan, who he KTFO just a few fights ago. I would rather see a Cotto rematch than Khan. Since getting knocked out by Garcia, Khan has faced a couple of average fighters and looked far from convincing in both fights. And what is tjis "Khan has an underestimated chin"? Ha. You have got to be joking. Just coz the first punch in the face he took didn't put him over, you think he has an underestimated chin? Lol
Name me a boxer in and around the top 10 in any division with a worse chin than Khan?
Garcia is having a rematch with Matthysse and Cotto is planning to fight Martinez at middleweight.
There are other options for FMJ like Martinez, Golovkin, Manny, Bradley but looks like he is looking for an easier fight in May with Khan.
What exactly has Khan done to deserve a fight with Mayweather ?

What did Robert Guerrero do to fight FMJ? Khan has a better CV than Guerrero.
Khans chin has been heavily underestimated. Yes he has trouble with big punchers,but he can take a punch.Have a look at the garcia fight again and count the amount of shots he took before being finished.

He got put on his back against Garcia in the third and was saved by the bell. Then decked another twice in the next round before the ref stopped it.
Using this fight as evidence of his 'heavily underestimated chin' is laughable. Garcia landed and his legs went and his senses scrambled. I'm sorry, but Amir khan has a dodgy chin. Willy Limmond put him on his aresnal ffs.
He's a very talented offensive boxer and from that angle he can cause anyone problems. However, if he gets caught clean against a fighter with a modicum of power, there is a strong chance he goes. Add in his poor defence and habit of leaving himself over exposed in fights, you have a very good boxer, but a boxer who isn't quite good enough at the elite level.
