Guess that explains why you're so behind Khan then. I respect your support for your fellow countryman. But your boy is nothing special.

If a 2 time world champion is nothing special then you must have some high expectations. I've said it many times he will never be an elite fighter but world class he is

"Diaz lands a right to the side of the head and Khan is in trouble - the wobbly legs are out. The Mexican goes after Khan and works away at the body. The Bolton man is lucky to get to the bell"

This is round 8!

Khan was a paper champ. Plenty of those around. No point hanging at the 2 time world champ tag. The guy has little ability.

Not sure I'd even have him down as world class. In fact, I think he's overachieved.

That's what you call boxing. The old analogy "if you go in the shower then you will get wet"

Diaz dominated that round but Khan survived it, took some blows and won the fight.

Wobbly legs, samba dance

Sorry Kash I know you like him but I love Khan's samba dance.

Khan must be close to drowning in every fight then.

Kash so that's what my point is, how is Khan suddenly gna be smart enough to take on Floyd Mayweather? When just 6 months back, he was letting his arms go and getting wobbled for a good 4/5 rounds.

I think we all know Floyd will win. We're just arguing over how easy the win will be. I think Floyd will take it to points. He wont risk his 0.

I think people overstate how cautious Mayweather is. I don't even think he'll have to open up. His potshots will end it. Lead right hand will take Khan's head off.

Anything can happen in a fight and I would be gutted if PBF was beaten by a lucky punch by someone who is lucky still to be fighting.

Im not gna sit here and say Floyd's fights excite me but if he does open up and lands on Khan, it'l be like strictly come dancing in the ring with Khan in there

It is obvious this fight should happen, look at all the interest it has sparked.

Nonetheless, no point in having speed if you don't know how to use it.
A tortoise in Garcia neutralised it with timing. What do you think someone as sharp and quick as Mayweather would do to him?"

You obviously didn't watch that fight.

Khan was outboxing Garcia until he got caught a couple of times and he started doing the samba

Exactly my point. He was timed. And that's all she wrote. Good night Sally.

As for Khan outboxing Garcia. Snatching 1 or 2 round ain't outboxing.
Garcia was biding his time. Clearly tactical on his part.

So he didn't neutralise Khan's speed? Getting outboxed for the first 3 rounds was tactical, yeah? If Khan wasn't such a thick, egotistical maniac, he would've kept his distance from Garcia tor 12 rounds and won the fight.

Also Mayweather doesn't have power like Garcia, so he's not gonna KO Khan with a couple of big shots.

I don't like Khan btw, he's a massive helmet. I used to underrate him as well, but having watched a lot of his fights recently, I've grown to appreciate the offensive side of his skills.

Different situation. He was expected to beat Diaz and instead laboured. Against Floyd he will have a different mentality with the world watching and will be more vary of his own game plan. The question for Khan will be if he can rise to the occasion and I think he will albeit in a losing cause.

Khan will get caught with a punch he doesn't see on his fragile chin against Mayweather. Up to this point he may look decent, even against Floyd, but it's only a matter of time before the right hand connects on on those china whiskers and Khan will be doing the chicken legged samba.

I also think Khan is a bit of a bell - end, but as he is British I hope he wins against Mayweather, but I just can't see it. He has the the speed and punch volume to cause him problems, but his bang average defence will easily unravel against Mayweather. His porcelain whiskers just make it more of a formality unfortunately.

I have noticed "Did you even watch that fight?" Seems to crop up alot on this board.

People saying this probably haven't seen many fights themselves, and so automatocally assume that others could be blagging it, like they are.

Floyd Sr has put doubt in this fight anyway. He more or less said that Khan needs to beat someone big again before he takes on Floyd and it appears the Devon fight has fallen through.

Having said that FMJ doesn't always listen to his old man.
