Mick leaves, Wolves go to League One and he and most of his players remain at a higher level. I guess in Perton, Daytona and Kansas that's what you call progress
Now look what you've started, Wolfgang.
Additionally, we have a Brighton fan staying in one of our properties. I went to see him this morning and we eventually started to talk football.
Despite what Cinci would have us believe, this particular Brighton fan rates Ward as a good loan signing.
What I think is interesting is that almost exactly a year after Solbakken finished his spending spree by spunking £3m on a player we had on loan until the end of the season anyway we saw a starting XI that didn’t contain one of his signings and bench that only contained one of his players.
The total contribution we got yesterday for the £12m spent was a 10 minute cameo from Sig.
Every other player involved in the match day squad was a left-over from the McCarthy era, an academy product promoted by Jackett or one of KJ’s signings.
Wasn’t it once suggested that the bald embodiment of uselessness would make a good scout or DoF? I assume that idea has been well and truly put to bed!
Sako was a good signing, Siggy might be.
The others were worse than useless.
There is only one good thing to say about Stale and that is that he wasn't Dean Saunders.
Shhh Rog, you know what happens to your blood pressure when the Eye of the Laverbread is mentioned!
So then if it wasnt the players fault whose is it.
Hmmm let me think...its not the players so it must be the manager......oh it cant be the beloved muppet can it, yes it must be.
Unless you want to blame the tea lady for managing the team an buying the players, but wait you say it cant be the players.
Proof that it has to be muppet....at last you have seen the light.
Could someone who speaks Puppet translate please?
So where was the progress when we were in the pl then dj.
Proof again that muppet was out of his depth and a dinosaur because there was .none.
Oh wait there was progress............relegation to the championship.
Vokes has 8? Goals this season already. Fair play
Thanks for the concern Tatter! I hadn't thought of him for at least a couple of days but I guess I still haven't fully rehabilitated.
Perton, "muppet" wasn't the manager last season so by you're argument it's not his fault or did I read your well-written post incorrectly?
Just read the last few posts and am going back to bed as I must still be p1ssed.
i wasnt talking about the article,if it isnt the players fault whose is it?
The managers last season got us relegated to div 1 obviously but who started the ball rolling and as the article infers it isnt the players so it has to be the manager and the manager at that time was.............drum role...............muppet.
But its amazing isnt it,were having a good season we have a manager now who seems to know what he's doing,we have players who want to play for wolves, the rift is being heald between m/m and the fans and all that can be discussed on here is previous seasons, just typical.
Have a good day,off to watch the grass grow, some of you just cant leave it alone, enjoy whats happening to the club now...............
Just typical.
Can some call an ambulance for me? A flying dummy has just taken my eye out!
We can't argue about the present so it has to be the past. What's the problem?
We can enjoy what's happening now, and still regret the mistakes of the past, Perton.
I very much doubt that we'd be in Division 3 right now had the club not ousted Mick. Indeed, we might still be in the Prem - we'll never know.
Mick has only won the Championship outright twice, so of course he's a Muppet, which ironically is almost an anagram of plummet (if you ditch the "L" and swap an "N" for another "P" ).
Wolfie will say, "Hang on - it's the other 7 in the Burnley side who are responsible for their being in top spot, and not the "Wolves 4" who are taking the club forward, and moving on, and 95% of posters on here will agree, and I don't look at other clubs results anyway, even though I do monitor the scores to build my weekly league table, blah blah blah..."

When will the knitting circle, nit-picking, rose tinted glasses clique wake up and smell the coffee? If we’d sacked McCarthy before he got us to the Premier League as I and 95% on here suggested we should do there would be no way we would have been relegated from the Prem.
It wasn’t sacking McCarthy that was the problem it was the mistakes the so called 2Ms made in replacing him that was the problem. You make out as if I said everything would improve when McCarthy went when I clearly said that everything would improve when McCarthy went.
Are you all too blind to see the difference between those two statements?

Very bold statement Wolfgang, but go and find a comment where anyone on here has said those 4 players weren't fit for parks football.
You seem to be falling into the same trap as others and are starting to exaggerate.
Vokes for a start has always had my backing and recently I stated that he wasn't given a chance by the club. Kightly was a good player for us but after his injury, was never the same. Some on here called him a judas for leaving when he did, so have a go at those posters.
Shackell left a long time ago as did Jones and were decisions made by MM, not anyone on here.
Not sure why you want to drag up the past, as we are now moving forward with a manager who seems to know what he's doing.
All you're doing is making bullets for the likes of Tatter and Butey to fire and of course they step up to the plate like lambs to the slaughter. I'm sure my filtered friend will make some comment too.
