It could be a tough one, funny thing is john collins was on tv saying today Real are the weak team of our group, i thought what!!!!

posted on 21/10/13

well they probably are the weakest team in our group, but its a strong group, but it hasnt got an outstanding team in it, all 4 teams are fairly even

If they saw the Bilbao games from just over a year ago and have watched our two recent games against West Brom and Southampton, which they are sure to have done, they'll know how to approach the game.

Attack us with midfield runners and press us high up the pitch. We have no answer for it.

I don't like saying it but I don't see things improving any time soon.

He needs to play 4-5-1 so we don't concede the centre of midfield.

Mex

I am mate.

It's not the results per say that is doing it either. I could handle us not winning trophies if we were playing well. But we're not.

We are absolutely dreadful to watch. As a match going fan it kills you when you work hard all week and look forward to your team cheering you up on saturday and they play like they are doing.

If we don't beat Stoke on saturday, I think serious serious questions need to be asked.

And god knows what Arsenal are going to do to us in a few weeks time. We have to buck up A LOT otherwise they will inflict even more misery on us.

The only time we looked good was when moyes played cleverly in a 3 man midfield......need to play 433 ir get mullered in midfield yet again!

So expect a midfield two of Jones and Giggs.

After a poorish first 30 mins at Swansea we looked bloody good as well that day.

Oh how things have turned since that day.

this is what annoys me, when people say have patience, he'll get it right give him a few years, well a few years is about £6,000 away, like you say, i can deal with not winning trophies, as long as the football is entertaining, but we're even worse to watch than we were last season

posted on 21/10/13

and the other thing that annoys me is the only reason they can think of as to why he will get it right is "well fergie chose him, so he must be the right man" sorry thats bóllocks

Jagielka quote from july comparing training with Martinez to moyes

" "This pre-season has been drastically different," said Jagielka.

"Normally you're working a lot harder off the ball - you're running around and the balls rarely come out.

sounds like Pulis

In my opinion Moyes has to make a statement in this match.
Frustrating performances and disappointing results recently surely call for a little kick up the backside of this group. Give Hernandez and Kagawa a chance for crying out loud. And what heck was the point of signing Saha when he's never off the bench?
But whatever he does , he better not start this match with Giggs

posted on 21/10/13

He's a manager cut from the same cloth as Pulis. Stone age tactics and ideas by the sounds of things.

In fairness to moyes it was Fergie that signed ZAHA.

You can't blame him for that one.

posted on 21/10/13

his substitutions have cost us at least 3 points already this season

I wouldn't mind Saha, might bang in some goals.

We'll never know what really went on in the summer but I don't think Woodward was 100% responsible like many people do.

In fact I'm pretty certain it wasn't woodward pushing the Fabreags transfer for a month. He might have been doing the negotiating but I can't imagine he was identified by him.

I think Moyes dithered for too long and was left red faced. And it might cost him his job if he doesn't buck up and fast.

42 million on fellaini and zaha

posted on 21/10/13

me too, and people using the excuse that he only started the job on July 1st, so do they think he had no contact with united whatsoever throughout June and he was just sat with his finger up his arsé for 5 weeks?

42 million on fellaini and zaha

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Not technically true.

We paid 10m for Zaha with the extra 5m as potential add ons. At the moment it looks likely to stay at 10m.

And Moyes is only resposnsible for 27m of that.

The Glazers haven't backed him, despite knowing he already had the impossible job. Either that or they did and Moyes wasted time dithering on what he wanted and ended up with egg on his face.

Either way, it's not good news for us.

i dont buy this either, we know for a fact we bid €40m for Sami Khedira and €30 for Herrera so the money was there

posted on 21/10/13

Did we balls bid 40m for Khedira.

He's a good player but he's not worth 40m euros (only a couple under what Ozil went for).

if we had Madrid would have bitten our hands off.
