You owe me, strett. Remember the fabulous weekend I gave you at The Clive, those crisp sheets, that breakfast sausage.......
Rev! How's the sermon coming? I need to prepare for Sunday School and am struggling for some inspiration - any suggestions?
I think most posters are taking a very short sighted view this evening.
I didn't want Davies back after we sacked McLeish (I still think there were better options) however he did well when he did take over by steadying the ship. He signed some good players in the close season (and some dross) and had a good start to the current campaign. In the last month however we have lost our way. We still have three very difficult games coming up though and if we are within touching distance of the play-offs on Boxing day (as we were last boxing day) then I will be relatively happy.
It depends what happens after that. I don't think we will be making any major signings in January, but I don't think we should have to and nor should the manager. The squad we have is big enough and good enough to win promotion via the play-offs. If that doesn't happen then I think Davies can be judged to have failed. It will then be up to Fawaz to decide whether to back him or sack him.
Our back five is fine. The manager needs to decide what shape the front six need to adopt and pick the best personnel from what he has available. His current inability to do that is my big worry - without being able to do that there is no point in bringing in any more players

Strett.
Debate is good and healthy, and it's been good to see both sides of the coin.
Although I prefer the more positive side, I get some of your views.
When people with no real interest and a reasoned bias try to intervene I'd rather just delete.
You obviously love the club as much as every other fan on the board.
Try to give the wee man a chance until things change.
Don't spill the beans about the sausage
It may have been in Ludlow, MILF, but if you closed your eyes it could have been Cumberland.

Vidal needs deleting. He is the Shipman of Interventional Radiologists.
DNR are his favourite letters

Has Vidal changed his name?
You seem tense rev.
Is there anything I can do?

Deadly serious. We have been ploughing through the Armour of God, but using everyday items you can find in the kitchen. Somehow, the mixing bowl of salvation and fire blanket of righteousness seemed almost a little sacrilegious.
Never mind.
Would you rather have seex with Megan fox's body with Leonard Nimoy's head on it, or reroof an entire apartment complex by yourself?
How big is the apartment complex and will Nimoy be speaking at any point?
