You have to be pretty stupid/naive/wumming to truly believe the Glazers won't give Moyes any more money.
Of course they will. It may not be £100 million but if a good player comes available and we can get him i'm sure Fellaini or not, it won't be a problem.
Luckily people on here, let alone the Glazers are smarter than you.
"My top 4 this season
1) Arsenal
2) United
3) City
4) Chelsea/Liverpool/Everton"
I would be amazed if that happened.
1 & 2: City/Chelsea - January will play its part in the order they finish.
3: Arsenal - They won't be far away but their squad isn't as good as the two above. Ramsey, Ozil and Giroud could be running on empty come April if they don't add more depth.
4. United - Don't see us contesting the title this season but we should have more than enough to finish 4th.

People may laugh but I genuinely don't think Chelsea will be in the top 4.

You see, this comment is where it becomes abundantly clear that you know very little about football in massive proportions

What do you fancy for top 4 and in what order? Sorry if you've already said, I am just too lazy to read all the comments!
I think City, Chelsea and Arsenal will all be top 3 now. Arsenal every week look more and more like champions so it's very hard to call.
Steve,
Apologies for the late reply, it's my wife's birthday so
I've had to feign interest for a couple of hours
I still see the top four as being Chelsea, City, United and Arsenal, particularly later in the season, I really don't think any other team has the strength in depth to sustain a challenge.
In terms of the order, I said at the start of the season that I thought Chelsea were the favourites and I still stick by that. The caveat is if Arsenal keep Giroud fit, then I can see them having a very good season.
For us, I think we will sort out the away form and fairly quickly, but we need to keep players fit and used to Pellegrinis system. As good as our goal difference is and how well we have played so far (our defensive record is actually very good if you look at the goals for and against), we need to have Kompany back and staying fit for the rest of the season if we are to seriously challenge.
For United, I still see them as top four but I would be surprised if you finished second. Moyes needs to be more adventurous for me and I'm still to be convinced he can change his mindset to be that way. I don't think people realise the difference between managing an underdog that can sit deep and counter oppositions compared to managing a top team where you have to break the opposition down. It is why some managers seem to fast track their way to the top clubs rather than put the shift in at the so called lesser teams - it is a completely different style of management and one that takes a while to get used to.
I'm still not confident of the order, but I think United will be third or fourth depending on how quickly Moyes makes the big decisions that need to be made for you guys and who he goes after in January.
I'll reply better tomorrow though!

Point of Order, Mr. Speaker….
Those who questioned my statement, that The Glazers have a contingency for falling out of the CL for one season, need to read David Gill's FT interview last May when he stepped down. My right honourable friends may note that both Sir Bobby Charlton and SAF himself make the same claim in their respective books.
I myself, of course, couldn't possibly comment.
Cheers Juan, I'll have a look
Melton, did you add me on PSN? I just stumbled across that controller I was going to send to you. I need your address.
Not the best start then Rob
If it makes you feel better Robb I said we'd be top come January the first...
What I didn't do was make an article on the subject and tell everyone to bookmark it!
We can still turn it around! 5 wins and Liverpool have some bar steward games to come.
"I solemnly promise that United will be in the top 4 come January 1st and even SLM will be a happy camper. We will be no more than 5 points behind Arsenal. Maybe even as close as 3 points."
I have to be honest Robb, the first part of what you put (in terms of you will be in the top 4 by the beginning of January), I actually still agree with!
I don't think you will be only three points behind Arsenal and I don't think SLM will be a happy camper still though!
Well we have some nice enough fixtures coming up....
The main cause for pessimism at the moment is we are playing so badly that we expect a low return from these easy fixtures.
Earlier on I felt we were playing well and just a little unlucky or write the odd game off like the West Brom one.
But we were poor against an on fire Everton team then shocking against a Newcastle team that is good but mainly is on form, this has killed a lot of my optimism...
SAF,
I think the results will come. To be honest, that has never been something that I don't think Moyes will rectify, I do think he will be ultimately be a successful appointment for you. I just personally am not a big fan of his style of play and I fear for what he might implement long term.
Results wise, I think he will be fine.
If moyes had come in and got us playing attractive attacking football from the off and our results suffered, people would be saying "what's he playing at", he done the right thing in carrying on our tried and tested dire football, no point taking players out of their comfort zone from the off, he'd have lost the dressing room.
Ha! Not exactly my train of thought there earl!
is it even mathmatically possible for us to be 3 points behind arsenal by the 1st?
