Positives.

Dixon, Clayton, Smith and Scannell played well.

In round four of the cup, big club next?

Leeds lost!

got away with murder ?

it should have all been over after 20 minutes...they got 2 offside goals, got away with not conceding an obvious penalty...and still conceded 3 goals..

Thought Holmes looked niaive when he came on... hammill huffed and puffed...but decent efforts by most of the others..at least we didn't let our heads drop, and that own goal at the end, we'd have scored that anyway...

I am relieved though...

Yeah, our defence is well capable of scoring an own goal like that!

15 minutes of football, followed by a dodgy pub game with one great free kick chucked into the midst of the sh-te...

that's about it...

winning "ugly" is one thing but today we took the p-ss..

said it before, if gerrard and Wallace are the answer, you are asking all the wrong questions..

btw, hello all.... happy new year...

Welcome back 38, I thought you'd done a wucking funner, like a few others on here.

Anyhow, Town won and that's the main thing because it's never easy when you face a fully committed team from a league well below your own, who have everything to prove and nothing to lose.

I well remember going to Upton Park many years ago, when my local team Emley almost pulled off the biggest shock in FA Cup history, only to go down to a late winner from Redknapp's star studded Hammers.

So as I said, the main thing is we won and now go into the hat for tomorrow's next round draw. No Town fan has any right to moan about today's outcome and if they think they have, then they need to have a word with any Leeds Urinals fans.

So well done Town, well done Robins, because they achieved precisely what they set out to do.

the result was precisely what they set out for.. the rest was drivel...
no one is moaning about the "outcome"...
robins simply cant accept the result and hope it was "one of them days", it was just too bad for that..
I suspect some bruised egos by the time they get back, at least..
its quite acceptable to find it hard against a conference team who are giving it a right go, its not acceptable to let in two awful goals and win it with an own goal and a keeping mistake...
bigger picture mirf.... remember the first 10 of the 2nd half against Yeovil, they could have scored 3 and really should have scored 2 to make it 3 apiece.. there are some problems that need addressing and quickly..
