We can win 10 of our last 14 games. Absolutely and I fancy us to beat Liverpool at OT. We've already done it once this season.

Mex, fair enough but the only thing that will prove either 'side' right or wrong is time and some people are willing to give Moyes time and some aren't.

I just wish people would be a bit more patient but some people have just lost their nerve and are ready to give up well before Moyes has had any decent amount of time to get things right which believe it or not is still very possible.

You and other reasonable people have said that if we're still struggling like this in December next year he's gotta go which is exactly how I and many people feel but yet the ones who want him gone NOW seem to be the ones shouting the loudest.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

yes but there is no right or wrong way of going about it, they have the right to want him out, and if you go by this season then it at least deserves some consideration, giving a manager time doesnt always equal success, and there isnt a set time limit that people must give Moyes to give the impression he's going to succeed, just because theyre not willing to give him as much time as you and me are, doesnt make them worse fans, or idiots or plastic (some of them are idiots but theyre still united fans who want the best for the club, just like some people on the other side of the fence are idiots who want the best for united), people need to stop taking things said for and against Moyes so personally on here IMO, you can still have sensible debate whether you want him in or out

Tonights result has put Arsenal under pressure to get a result at Anfield at least

The title chasers are unlikely to win that many.

We won't win more than 7 or 8 and that's being kind too.

Won't happen under Gollum.

Arsenal for me (i know!) are the favourites. They're picking up points with key players missing and can only get better once the likes of Ramsey, Flamini and Wilshere are back.

Don't be such an idiot. So we weren't entertaining in both games against Leverkusen? Against Villa? Against West Ham? Against Liverpool in the league cup? Against Arsenal for 45 mins? Against Swansea for 45 mins? Against Sociedad?

We have actually been entertaining at times and buying a player like Mata will only make that happen more often.

We'll blatantly bring in better players in the summer and be entertaining a lot more.

Stupid throwaway comments like the one you just made are ridiculous and very short sighted.

Arsenal are 3rd favourites.

Stretford, sadly I think you are right.

Mex, in forum world every day is like a year.

its not even a question worth asking, because EVERYONE has a differing viewpoint on it, and they just end in arguments, the United board is pathetic these days, id rather be on an RGK article than 95% of articles on the United board

Robb, to be fair:

"So we weren't entertaining in both games against Leverkusen? Against Villa? Against West Ham? Against Liverpool in the league cup? Against Arsenal for 45 mins? Against Swansea for 45 mins? Against Sociedad?"

Leverkusen, Villa and Sociedad were all woefully poor. And we drew against Sociedad!

We were very open against Liverpool in the league cup, and the other games you mentioned aren't even full matches...

Clutching at straws a bit there!

Moyes' style of play just isn't very good.

posted on 3/2/14

we beat Sociedad and even though it was 1-0 we battered them for the whole game and it was as entertaining as it gets.

It's easy to say that Leverkusen were poor but maybe we made them look poor. They beat all the other sides in the group and drew against Bayern so they're not that bad. They're ahead of Dortmund in their league.

Clutching at straws is saying we can't be entertaining under Moyes when we clearly have been at times.

he needs to do it more often but there are plenty of factors why.

You don't know his style of play because he hasn't got the players he needs yet.

Judge him then. It's pretty hard to maintain a style with the collection of wingers and midfielders that we have.

So ten years at Everton hasn't given us an idea?

------------------

This isn't true though. We have players who can play. Liverpool were doing in under Rodgers, Everton under Martinez... Moyes may not have the exact players he wants but the idea that Carrick, Kagawa, Rooney, RvP, Mata, Januzaj, Rafael and Evra couldn't play attractive, free flowing passing football is hard to swallow. Even the likes of Young, Welbeck etc... Can actually play good stuff.

I admire your positive outlook but sometimes it does become slightly irritating.
