No offence, but it seems you make controversial articles just to get comments
Darren, not really. Different players and expectations.
People can change and maybe with players like Mata, Vidal and Rooney in his side will give Moyes the courage to be more bold against teams he's been conditioned to be cautious against.
He will have to do that to keep a job so that pressure might mould him into a better manager.
It might not happen and if not he'll be gone but he will know just what is expected of him.
I forgot Nani in my list of players that are all good enough and technical enough to play fast, entertaining passing football. We do have the players (we're 2 or 3 short of being a really top team, of course) to play good football. Enough to win trophies and compete in Europe? Maybe not. But we want attractive football. Everton, Swansea, Liverpool etc... all do this with inferior squads. Even Cardiff are good to watch.
As a side note... Zaha did more on his Cardiff debut than Valencia has in 2 seasons!!

I admire your positive outlook but sometimes it does become slightly irritating.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not my fault you get irritated by a post on a football forum. You need to get a life if a football supporter expressing support for his football team on a football forum irritates you.
In fact, if your only contribution to said debate is to say that it irritates you then you really have issues.
Moyes has no track record of playing attractive football. He's taken our style of play backwards in six months.
He probably can get this team playing more entertaining football than they are, it can hardly get worse, but to say we don't know what Moyes' style of play is goes against everything he's shown in his career.
Berbaking, you're forgetting that Nani isn't quite the talent people think he is. You might think he's perfect for fast, passing football but he's just as liable to lose the ball from some selfish stupidity and have us on the back foot and with us being as bold as you want us to be, a player like nani becomes a massive liability.
It's these kind of balancing acts that make Moyes have a far more difficult job than the supporters seem to realise.
I think you would probably do with getting a life by not posting 50 posts a day.
Darren, you're being a bit unfair. At times Everton played excellent, entertaining football but over the space of 10 seasons with a team that had barely any money it would be unrealistic to play open football every week.
everton are doing it now but lets see how they do when they lose their loan players. Martinez needs to find a more solid style of football to mix it up a bit when his players aren't all available like Moyes did.
I accept Martinez has been more entertaining than Moyes but given the right players I reckon Moyes will be more entertaining with United in time. It's expected of him and he deserves the benefit of the doubt that long term he knows what he's doing.

Says the guy who feels the need to stress this to me. It's okay buddy, your passive aggressive comments have been noticed.
You get a special award
I don't want a special award because I'm not a needy idiot like you who needs to post 50 articles a day to massage his ego.
Meh, their football wasn't excellent at all. They played some decent stuff at times but overall their style of play isn't particularly attractive.
Everton were in a perfect position to have built a philosophy of entertaining football once he'd established them as a solid premier league side because they had no expectation, but that was never his attitude towards football.
Moyes may yet succeed at United, but it won't be with entertaining football, I can guarantee that.

He came back for another comment! Woooo, I hope you go to bed with a smile on your face.
'Yes, I sure told that Robb guy. He didn't think i'd have the courage to say another pointless sentence but I sure did.' 'Yep, I sure showed him!'

-------------------
Even if i accept that Robb, which i don't quite, i still mentioned all the other players who have the ability to play entertaining football.
Of course flair players will try difficult things and lose the ball from time to time. That's fine. If fans can see a player or their team trying to play the game in the right way, that's ok. We know things won't always come off.
I don't really care that we lose. It's the way we play. There is no excuse really. Plenty of teams in the PL play better football on the eye than us with less talented squads. Again, our squad is far from perfect, but the players i mentioned should be playing great football and be the top four, no question.
Any manager that had a view to playing attractive football would not play Antonio Valencia every bloody game.
He still wanted Bale, Fabregas, Herrera and Baines so he's not exactly going for boring players.
We'll know on September 1st what exactly he sees as the future of United in terms of playing staff.
To be fair, he has been more entertaining in Europe than SAF has as of late.
Valencia shouldn't play football regardless of the style.
We should just hire Diego Simeone.
Just like we should buy Ever Banega
