Umm...Those are cheap squads!

Also, I missed the part where £415m, and £450 was equal to £1b.

Yes your team is full of cheap players who play for peanuts.

Also it's not May yet.

how can Arsenal have the lowest squad value??

according to 99% of the góons on her you have the best GK, LB,RB, 2 CB's, LM, RM, 3CM and best CF in europe.

I don't get it. A website puts their value on a squad and were all supposed to accept their valuations?

Many came through the ranks. All those we buy improve no end under the tutelage of the great Arsenal Wenger.

Arsenal are the Aldi of the Premier League.

Ok squad cost, we're still way shorter than our rivals.

I'm not happy because we're in the mix, I'm happy because we've shown signs of improvement for now and ambition for the future.

Of your current crop, isn't it only Wilshere, Gibbs and Ramsey who came through the ranks?

I was of the understanding that it was a level playing field? Is it not well known that Arsenal have the money to spend another 100 million on their squad?

What a load of bóllocks.

City's wage bill, as declared in their recent accounts covers the whole club from the directors down to the ground staff. According to this, the players get it all whilst the executives, physios, admin staff, catering staff and even the manager get fek all.

Well done City for getting in the best set of volunteers this since UNICEF.

It's only about what you spent on coming in, not profits of players going out.

what? So this site has just valued some squads and wacked them in order?.. not really getting this one.

So players leaving doesn't effect the squad value? I'm going to admit I'm struggling to understand that... In 50 years will our squad be worth a trillion?

It's nothing to do with wages, it's about how much a club has spent on transfers of player coming in.
Wages are a whole other discussion.

You mean Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs came through the ranks?

Surely that is a ludicrous way of valuing a team

So if Rooney left for £50m, but we signed Carroll for £20m, that shows our squad value as +£20m?

This confuses me. Is this just some journalist deciding how much each player is worth?

I must be doing something wrong then, when I click on the link to each club all I get is someone's guesstimate to how much they think they're getting paid. I'll try again.

Strikes me, it's more about someone sat down and assigned a value to each player at the clubs in question. Probaby used FM2012 or something. Either way, it really doesn't mean very much.
