Sheep among the wolves?
Nah, there's too much crap to get through. Better to do what Iceland have done and get rid of the whole lot in one go
Asylum seekers from Somalia didn't have to work too hard to get a luxury Kensington house did they?
Nothing more pathetic than observing those plank-ton in the UK who don't vote and go on about the "system" etc, while those worldwide who would near die just to have the opportunity, too often end up with exactly that fate and never had their chance.

Do you read the Daily Fail by any chance?
RDBD
That argument only holds in states with a free media etc. We're not given the information to make an informed decision. The media leads the majority of the population down a path where there's little or no viable alternatives.. Green party?
Just because there are people worse off, doesnt mean we should accept what we are given and do what we are told.

Neither did I.
The information is out there.
There are only those willing to seek it wherever it is, and those too lazy to do so.

So what outrageous injustices are forced upon you South London Spur? Work hard, earn a good living, do what you want.
Of course it's "unfair" some people have generations of success and wealth and have easy lives because of it. Bombshell, life's not fair.

You know it's not so simple RDBD. Democracy (at least in theory) depends on over half of the population seeking out the information and applying it to make a positive change to society.
My guess is about 1% of people do that regularly, for this they are labelled "conspiracy theorists" and mocked.
"Just because there are people worse off, doesnt mean we should accept what we are given and do what we are told."
Talk is cheap.
When tis time to pay for what you say : what are you prepared to pay ??
With your time ?? Your wealth ?? Your life ??
Sizzle
The information i'm referring to is the genuine alternative methods to the pyramid scheme we live under. Where our taxes go, who spends them, and why.. why we go into seemingly pointless wars etc.. the TRUTH.. shouldn't be too much to ask considering they are our servants.
"You know it's not so simple RDBD."
We live in a world of umpteen TV channels, newspapers, and the Internet.
You can get several varying viewpoints on any topic, and decide yourself what the reality is.

Linesman - Me personally? nothing. But I live abroad now. Ask that question to lots of others though, and you would get a different answer.

Most of which are owned by 1 person (Murdoch) and strictly regulated by national law.
If it was all out there 'Wikileaks' wouldn't be a phrase we all know.

And how many of you actually ask ??
How many of you threaten not to give doorstepping election candidates your vote unless their party supports transparent display of how much of the tax melting pot goes on the NHS, welfare subsistence, immigrants etc ??

The RDBD..
My local MP is Conservative, I disagree with their policies regarding the NHS (for example) so I doorstep him. He agrees to take it on, raises it in parliament. Great stuff.
He's shouted down by 10 MPs whose constituents devour the Sun and Daily Fail and are up in arms about how much foreign doctors are being paid...............
There's only so far being 'right' gets you.
