They all have done more than Thurman though.
Cotto, Moseley and Oscar we'rent in their absolute primes, but they weren't shot.
No they haven't. Ortiz and Guerrero are complete bums, Maidana's decent but he's lost everytime he's fought at top level and stylistically he's an easy fight for Floyd.
Cotto, Mosley and Oscar were all past their prime. Oscar was coming off a retirement ffs (a real retirement, not a Floyd retirement ), he hadn't fought in a year.
But Thurman has never fought at top level. Maidana has fought for titles multiple times. Guerro had a title as did ortiz (i think). Thurman hasn't done anything yet.

Fair enough, I won't say I am happy with Floyds recent competition. At this point though Maidana has accomplished alot more than Thurman.
No he hasn't lol. You could argue that Thurman's resume is already better than Maidana's and Thurman hasn't even been given the chance to prove himself, unlike Maidana who has been given the chance and failed.
Beating Broner is no achievement.
Soto Karass is probably Maidana's best win.
Please. Corley, Ortiz, and Broner are all better wins than Soto-karass you joker. Not to mention the extremely tight losses against Kotelnik and Khan.
I find it strange that you call Floyd my idol, even though I am happy to criticise him when it is deserved, when it is you who seems to have a massive hard on for Thurman. Weird.
Corley? GTFO outta here
Broner is a hypejob, blown up LW/JWW and he's not very good anyway.
Ortiz is an absolute joke of a fighter and a disgrace to this sport.
And why are you telling me about his losses?
He got comfortably handled by Khan barring one or two rounds.

Lmfao not at all, I'm telling you facts. Thurman is a far better fighter than Ortiz, Maidana, Guerrero etc. If they deserve shots at Floyd, so does Thurman. It's not rocket science.
I understand why don't want your idol fighting threats though.
It's quite simple really, Maidana has been mixing at world title level for years, while Thurman is coming off a win over Diaz? Why do you need this explained?
It's pretty clear you know absolutely nothing about this sport. Keep blindly defending your idol. I've had my say.
Yeah, ok. Meawhile Thurman will continue fighting on undercards.
He actually headlined the triple header on Saturday, but you only keep up to date with your idol's career and maybe a couple of other big 'name' fighters, so I don't expect you to know that.
Which paperview did he headline?
Like I said, I respect mayweather's skill. I don't have idols, thats schoolboy talk.
Give me a shout next time you feel like losing an argument

Haven't you been following boxing for less than a year?
Over a year, I was a casual before then.
Surely that makes you look even more ret.arded though? The fact that I've only been a hardcore for just over a year and I already have a better understanding of the sport
'Canelo is a pressure fighter'...somebody who apparently follows the sport of boxing, ladies and gents
For someone who has been following the sport for a year, I will say you seem to have a pretty good understanding of it.
You said that Canelo wanted to outbox Mayweather.. you think that is somehow less retardid? hmm..
I am not here to one up anyone, just a bit of debate.

This is a fact. And if you think otherwise, it just proves my point about you not understanding boxing.
Canelo is a boxer-puncher/counter-puncher, he doesn't have the tools to cause Floyd any problems, he's got the wrong skillset. No footspeed, decent handspeed when throwing combinations but not good enough, lazy, flat-footed, stamina problems etc.
To be Floyd, you can to pressure him, Canelo simply isn't a pressure fighter. He's got stamina problems and he's lazy.

Then perhaps you should accept it when you have been proven wrong and not dig yourself deeper.
Proven wrong that Thurman has a better CV than Maidana?
I think not.
I did say arguably.
I see you decided to ignore the rest of the points I made though. Nice.
Points about what? The canelo floyd fight? I thought you just brought that up to deflect attention coz you were losing the argument. We already went through that and I think it is insane to think Canelo came to out box the master boxer.
Unfortunately, it isn't even arguable. Maidana has a far better resume at this point.
I wasn't losing the debate, I've proved you wrong about each point. You're refusing to accept it. Canelo couldn't do anything else, that's his style. That's why people were unhappy with him fighting Canelo, because it's stylistically and easy fight for him.
I already told you, Maidana's best win is Soto Karass. Thurman beat Soto Karass far more impressively...and that's not even his best win.
Maidana ducked Thurman as well
