Diaz should be able to stand and give interviews if he can't fight.
Hopefully Maidana next for Thurman after Floyd schools him, had enough of Maidana's fanboys on boxingscene.
Being in pain is no reason to quit a boxing fight.
Diaz came for a pay check.
Compare him to Molina.
Looks like they will try and make Porter vs Thurman to keep Floyd happy.
Floyd should fight Porter and Thurman
Don't want him fighting the Maidanas and Garcias anymore, had enough of that rubbish
Maybe Floyd will go into another fake retirement
Floyd likes to sit back and watch the top fighters take each other out, then swoop in for the left overs.
Goodnight all
Diaz landed a few times on thurman and he looked hurt.. he's fast and a sharp puncher but his chin is suspect
Kam I told you about Thurman's defence. You want him to fight Floyd? Lol come on man, he isn't ready for that.
Thurman's defence isnt bad. He is elusive and relies on his athletiscm to get him out of trouble. I agree he isnt ready for Floyd but he is definetly elite for me. I think he beats all the welters out there bar Floyd

What did you tell me about his defence and what did I respond with?
Thurman is one of the toughest fights Floyd could take at 147, you're deluded if you think otherwise.
Thurman is an offensive fighter, he's got to get caught from time to time.
SLS would rather have his idol fight robots like Maidana and Guerrero
Floyd fought Canelo and still got brushed by haters like you and D4. Now that he is rumoured to fight pacman, your bum chum is calling him a dangerous fighter!
Thurman is an exciting fighter but his defence is sloppy as fack. I think Porter beats him.
Floyd fought Canelo? wow what a warrior. The great Canelo!!!!
The flat-footed, unproven Canelo who barely beat Trout!
He is considering fighting Pac now because Pac is past it nowhere near the force he once was.
Thurman is a great fight offensive fighter with a good defence.
You didn't answer my question, name me one offensive fighter who doesn't get hit?
Everyone gets hit, this is boxing not equestrian. Thurman drops his hands too much, especially when he throws punches. That is ok in the ammys when house have headgear, but not in the pros unless you are an athletic freak like Roy Jones.
Being offensive doesn't mean you gotta have a sloppy defense and drop your hands all the time. There are so many examples of offensive guys who don't have sloppy df
Thurman drops his hands by choice, he's an entertainer. Like Martinez, he fights with his hands down, it adds to the excitement because he's risking getting badly hurt.
That's not the kind of thing that would cost you against Mayweather anyway, so it's irrelevant.
And as he steps up in competition, I'm sure he will be more aware of the danger and tighten up his defence and fight with more caution.
Thurman is very athletitic, he's got immense power, great footwork and footspeed, good jab, good handspeed, all the tools to give Mayweather a tough fight if he chooses the right gameplan.
Of course you want your idol to keep fighting the likes of Ortiz, Guerrero, Maidana etc though, those guys are ready for Floyd.
And exactly who has Thurman beaten to deserve the shot at Floyd? Julio Diaz
I don't have idols Kam, I am not a teenaged girl. I objectively think Mayweather is the best right now
Floyd is a bit of a tool, and I would like to see him test himself more before he retires, but I am not gonna lie to myself. He is incredibly skilled and would beat anyone around his weightclass.

De la hoya, Cotto, Moseley, Castillo, Corales, Judah, Hatton, Marquez, Alvarez. Yeah I see your point, Floyd has a record padded with slow flat-footed sluggers. My bad.
Thurman just blitzed through Soto-karass and Julio diaz, he isobviously a few levels above mayweather
De La Hoya = past it but good win for Floyd. Very close fight.
Cotto = past it but good win for Floyd.
Mosley = past it.
Castillo and Corales = great wins. Floyd arguably lost the first Castillo fight, I've watched it a few times and scored it both ways.
Judah = never an elite fighter. He did knock Floyd down and give him a very hard time for the first half of the fight though.
Marquez and Canelo are both flat-footed. Easy fights stylistically for Floyd.
So when you look at his record, isn't really that good. Casillo and Corales are probably his best wins.

When did I say Thurman is above Mayweather? You're imagining things.
Cotto, De la hoya and Moseley were not past it.
Anyway, the point is that beating Diaz and Soto-karass doesn't make someone ready to fight the undisputed champ. Thurman is a good young fighter but he isn't ready yet and I'm sure his handlers feel the same.
