He had a serious injury...him and Gomez. Similar to Flanagan. Maybe lower pressure games to ease them back in?

Sceptical about sending them out to other club doctors, especially after we've brought in a new one. Hopefully we're sending them out with medical reports & training regimes and stuff.

i dont see where ings is going to get much game time unless we have alot of injuries

Might get a couple of run outs in the league cup or a few appearances off the bench. Not sure he even got much time in preseason. Certainly don't recall seeing him in the USA games

That was me and the reason I think his treatment has been bad is because he's been sent to the under 23's! If he's not going to play loan him out but we can't just keep him in our U23 squad.

Sporting Lisbon were prepared to pay £16m to sign Markovic permanently but he wasn't interested in returning to Portugal.

Ings and Gomez should be treated carefully after the injuries they've had and with the relative squad depth we have in their positions. No point in ruining them by rushing them back like Torres.

Flanagan has been fit for longer and needs games now so I can understand the loan there.

I'd say Sturridge and Origi are both likely to pick up an injury and that's where Ings will come in.

I also think Klopp will rotate around the winter months.

Dont see anything wrong with Ings 'treatment'.

He won't play U23's every game, just odd games to keep him in fit and test his fitness.

I would wager he doesn't want to go out on loan either.

So he wont even get the chance but we dont want to sell him :/
