We still Lucas
It's looking like it could be Lallana's breakthrough season for us, where he really shows just how good he is.
He has certainly made an excellent start to the season.
His finish was top class yesterday.
Klopp has really got Lallana playing well and making him braver.
He has a superb engine on him, and presses like a mad man.
I did a happy dance and a little wee when that went in

Seriously speaking, we look a LOT more solid with Milner at left back.
This is what was needed, someone dependable devoid of brain fart moments.
Btw got to say hi to Carra yesterday, he was in a mad rush to take part in the parade of ex LFC stars in front of the main stand yesterday.
Was just going to jok the queue for the shop, and he comes half jogging, got to say "Hi Carra" , said "alright" without making eye contact.. before he disappeared into the museum bit.
RITH Jnr says what? I said just saw carra.. He said "I think you're lying"

And for everyone who says how good Moreno is going forward, does anyone genuinely think he could have seen and made the pass to Firmino for our first? More a point of how good Milner is at reading the game, rather than a dig at Moreno.

You can bet when Milner does have a bad game at LB there will be people queuing up to have a pop at him on here saying Moreno is the better option. Klopp is right to be giving Milner a chance at LB ahead of Moreno.
So far he has looked solid and he has assisted goals.

I always thought people were overreacting to the Milner left back scenario and so far he has done well.
Not perfect but pretty good, and with more games he should improve too.
He will have tough tests of course but he was up against Mahrez who is one of the best in the league yesterday.
It will be when we are being dominated that we will really see how well he defends, but that won't happen in many games. Chelsea could be one and I'm sure Hazard and Willian will be looking to get him one v one.
We could do with having Lovren back for that but I don't know the prognosis in his eye is.
matip was good yesterday, seems to have settled in really well.
I hope Matip can develop an understanding with Lovren and forming a reliable partnership. When Stewart came on he made us more solid, He is tactically a good player and we need him in some games when we have to defend leads.
u23's 4-0 up at halftime vs Leicester
Ings, Woodburn, Wilson & Ejaria
U23's 4-0 up at HT against Leicester.
Ings, Woodburn, Wilson and Ejaria with the goals.
That's 5 in 3 games for 16 year old Woodburn
How long until we call on Woodburn to save our season?
