He ran more than any other player in the league against Spurs then beat that against Leicester. His work rate and commitment are fantastic. Looks a bargain at £20m now!!

I dont think a lot of people had a problem with those attributes about Lallana....it was always output. Turning all those lovely touches, Cruff turns and utilising the space he finds more effectively.
He's started the season brilliantly. I acknowledged that he is getting into great positions, even after Burnley game. He seems to be turning that into goals and hopefully it continues throughout the season.

The similarities between RAP and Lallana are plain to see this season. Thrusting into the box from deep, great ball skills and a thrilling end product.

Anyway, a great chance to lay down a marker for the rest of the season. Likely a point would be acceptable, but to win would be hugely confidence building.
Kinda worried to see how Milner deals with Willian, and maybe even hazard down the left.

Ive been pleasantly surprised with milner at left back after a lacklustre start there.
He got his head on the ball a lot at the weekend and was pretty solid, our attack was more balanced without coutinho on the left, who i feel really needs a free central role..
Kudos to milner, a big ask for him to learn LB this season and so far he deserves a lot of praise
He's been just OK. caught out for the spurs equaliser, yet, didn;t have much to do defensively on Saturday/ Looked decent getting further forward though.
Friday will be a stern test I'm sure.
Jürgen Klopp asked staff to change the nets at Anfield from red to white to make them more visible in the players’ peripheral vision.

Thats basically my main grumble. The game is on at 3pm local time, so add it to the Monday games that I will have a hard time tuning in to.

I love those 1.30 games. Means it kicks off at 7.30 am here. I can have a cup of tea and some toast and watch the game in my pjs. By the time it's over the entire weekend is still ahead of me.
