Just to add to the phone conversation,

Ive worked extensively with iPhones, and they are massively overrated and overpriced.

My previous two phones were a Sony Xperia z1 + a z3, Having bought the Z3 after having the 1 for 3 or 4 years, and it surviving a LOT of abuse. that phone was near indestructible, the z3 however cracked like an egg, twice within the first 6 months of getting it.

I now have a OnePlus 2, which i have had for 6 or so months, and the value for money on the phone is just amazing.. it cost less than the z3 ffs and measured up respectably to the z5

I like the fact they are only distributed by OnePlus themselves and are completley unlocked, it has two sim card slots, which is actually handy, if you otherwise have a seperate work phone and would rather just carry one.

It works on a stripped down version of android too, it retains only the core features of android and removes all the software that other phone companies are paid to stick on your phone, such as shazam.

The only issue i have had is occasional "hangs" on the current version of the OS which requires a hard reset (sound down and standby button on android)

all in all for half the price of the Iphones its got very comparable power and easily replaceable battery when it does decide to stop charging properly.

I walk the dog for about 2 hours with strava open and using a radio app and usually see a less than 9% drop in the battery however i have been careful with the charge cycles (to preserve lifespan of lithium ion batteries you shouldnt let them drop below 20% apparently, and where possible perform power hungry tasks such as mobile games with it plugged in)

Also, USB 3 charger works either way up

You can always root it and flash CyanogenMod if you're having issues with Oxygen OS.

Just looking at the fixtures between now and the end of the year, and honestly, we've got a nice run coming up that we should be able to string a few wins together.

Don't play another contender for the top 4 until City on new years eve <Erm>

The main complaint with iPhone is the cost, if you got one for $150 (£115) then you cant really complain i guess.

The main issue with apple is once you are in their ecosystem you have to stick with their products, they have a captive audience so they massively overcharge, it started with the original iPod and iTunes, i have about 30 albums i cant put on my android device that i got when the first iPod came out due to DRM restrictions on the music.

Whereas you can be in the android ecosystem and have the choice of a massive range of devices and features and move your purchases between phone brands, to tablets, smart TVs etc and have a massive range of choice.

Actually looking to upgrade as my contract is expiring in a few weeks. Think I may have found my deal:

"If you wanted to get new phones the iPhone 6s are Buy one Get one free, which would be about $22 per month for the devices.

Total amount for the plan would be $90 then the additional $22 for the phones. The total would be $112 plus the 15% taxes roughly $16.80.

Total would be out $130 for the 2 lines unlimited with 2 new iphone 6s."

So, unlimited data for $90 a month and two iphone 6s's for essentially $250 apiece, plus I have a 5s and an 8month old flawless 6 to sell online. Should easily get $400 for that.

United fans thinking van Gaal is to blame for Mourinho not doing to well

posted on 23/9/16

United captain Wayne Rooney has also been criticised for his recent form, but he told MUTV: "I don't really listen to what a lot of people out there are saying, because a lot of it is rubbish."

Oh, silly us. Rooney has actually been playing fantastic football and is in the form of his life

I'm all for the masking over of Rooney's performances in the media.

The longer it takes for Mourinho to drop him the longer it will take for them to realise how much he is holding that team back.

Rooney must have some clause in his contract that ensures he's picked. 3 successive managers post Fergie have kept him as a mainstay despite godawful performances.
