Missed the game today. Good win for us after much perseverance by the sounds of things. Any news on Coutinho's injury? Looking at pics on twitter, looks really bad ok first sight.

On Chelsea,

7 wins on the spin now, if they beat Man City next week then they have a genuine chance of winning double figures on the spin as next 5 fixtures after that are games they have been winning comfortably.

We really need City to get something and stall their momentum.

Our own form is impressive, 14 unbeaten and won 11 of those. We may well need to keep that up over the next month to stay in contact.

Yeah, really need City to stop Chelsea's momentum. They won yesterday against a good side despite playing poorly for a large period of the game, that is an encouraging sign for a top team. Need City to beat them as they look unstoppable at the moment.

Coutinho scan is a big moment in our season. If Lallana, Sturridge weren't struggling with their own injuries and Ings being out long term i'd be a lot more confident but that's not the case. Mane going in January for a month as well, all of a sudden our wealth of attacking options seem to very light indeed.

On a brighter note I think we have a top player in Origi so it's his time to flourish.

We could always test the waters for boyhood Liverpool fan Dele Alli in January... Didn't someone once write an article about that?

I don't think we will win it this year but certainly with the way the start has gone I'd be disappointed if we didn't finish in the top four. Hopefully Spurs finish third in the CL so they're playing Thursday nights later this season.

Hopefully Coutinho is a short term absence. Might just be a sprain but usually when players react like he did they know something feels different that something they might usually pick up.

The run of matches we've got - yes he will be a loss - but we should have enough quality to beat the teams coming up before Man City at the end of December.

Alli has rather gone off the boil this season. Good young player but nowhere near as good as some were saying.

Lallana and Sturridge will both be back next week.

Coutinho long term would be a big loss of course, but it's far from disastrous at this stage.

Find it funny how fans of other teams are saying we won't score without him. He went off at 0-0 yesterday - what score did it finish? Also, think I read a stat somewhere that we average 1.9 goals a game with him, 2.1 without. No problem.

The only way you'll lose that is if Anfield floods or something and all our fixtures get postponed for a month. Utd at the minute look like we did about 5 years ago minus hitting the woodwork every game.

Bunch of old men. Rooney, Zlatan, Carrick etc are too old for this league. Long may their demise continue

United board has been in meltdown for weeks now. A loss at Everton on Sunday (not inconceivable) would make things interesting.
