I hope the Dembele rumours aren't true. I ndon't think he was much kop at Fulham and just because he's doing well at Celtic doesn't mean he can cut it in the PL.

Van Dijk would cost at least £40m

I read somewhere that Neverton were also interested in Van Dijk and that the £40m price tag wouldn't put them off.

I would assume the arrival of Van Dijk would also see the end of Lucas at CB.

I love Lucas. I hope he gets a testimonial

I liked Lucas before it was cool.

I used to have Lucas as my favourite player on my bio and always got stick for it.

I have always said a midfielder comes into his own around 25-28 years of age yet our fans slated him at 21/22 which was unfair.

He has been a great servant to the club and I still think he plays really well at centre back. I read that he is really good at melwood with the younger players and Klopp loves having him as he is a dedicated trainer and a great role model for the young lads.

i hope we make him a coach one day so he never leaves the club.

I used to be MaschingEmAnkles but I have an addiction to crisps now so they take priority!!

I think Dembele is quality. Going to be a top player.

Can't see it in January though unless it's a loan back deal, and we need a wide forward rather than a striker anyway unless Sturridge is crocked for good.

Pulisic looks very good to me but very tough to get him.

Van Dijk won't leave in Jan but will be a big summer move for someone.

Remember the barnet on him when he first arrived?? then he got it chopped and improved massively - like a reverse Samson thing!

Well dembele would be annoying, why the hell didnt we look before he went to celtic, will have a massively inflated fee from scoring alot in a tin pot league

Sturridge/Dembele swap deal anyone?

if they are giving an extra 40mil on top sure

If I remember rightly we did look.

Us and Spurs were linked and he nearly joined Spurs but they wouldn't loan him back to Fulham so it fell through.

I remember him playing a blinder against our U21's for Fulhams, I think he got a hatrick.

So for the next month people will be writing Sturridge's Liverpool obituary, he'll score a hat trick against City, and the same people will be acknowledging how crazy we'd be to sell him

Seen Dembele play once. Lost 7-0 and missed a pen. Must be $hite.

Saw pulisic play once. Came off the bench in the Europa leage draw against us. Think he put in one cross. Couldn't even get off the bench in the return leg. Must be overhyped.

Who's the other one? Van Dijk? Saw him get rag dolled by origi and Sturridge in that 6-1 mauling. He even let Ibe score. 40mil

Just bought all 3 of my nieces Liverpool tops and dressing gowns for xmas. Their dad is a Utd fan. Can't wait to see the look on his face when they unwrap them
