For sure it did.

If we had started slowly and worked our way up to where we are now, everyone including rival fans and the media would be going crazy about Klopp finally getting us playing and the possibility of a late title charge etc etc.

Nice mix of senior players and kids, with the young wide players and Woodburn in the attacking midfield role getting the chance to stake a claim in areas we are struggling at the moment.

Firmino et al on the bench if we need them.

So I suppose with Brannagan going to Fleetwood Mac or whatever they're called it means the kiss of death for him.

Paul Lambert is their manager. Done well at Anfield in the past.
