Can and Caulker seem like squad players to me. Hopefully we will be buying players who are first team ready.

I don't think we need too many first team players.

Maybe a left back, maybe a centre half.

Other than that we just need better quality replacements.

I don't get the Caulker hatred. He played every game last season, made the most blocks in the league, big, strong, decent pace. A leader, BR knows him and his ability and he is only 22.

He strikes me as like Cahill. A young English defender who a top side took a punt on and has improved no end with better players and is now first choice for club and country.

Henderson was a young player who had played for England u21 when he came here and look at him now. First choice for us and possibly England!
