I wouldn't be unhappy with Michu
all the hype has died down and he'd be reasonably priced now
that's a sub I'd be happy to come on if we need a goal
Bony will cost lots Metro after his season, agree he'd be better then Michu but there woudl be a significant price difference.
Metro.
Why not have both and then we could have a Boney M strike force.
What about the Ashley Cole rumour in the guardian today, would you take him for a season?
Michu is more versatile than Bony.
Michu can play deeper or as a centre forward.
Perfect impact sub/rotation at peak age.
Bony's just a striker though isn't he?
Michu can play both attacking centremid and striker
We don't have £100mil to spend and if we were to go after/ get someone like sanchez, that Spanish fullback and/or lallana we're going to use up a lot of budget.
I think we could get Michu for 8-10 and he can score in both the league and Europe.
Being linked with youngsters jordan obita at reading, and matt grimes of exeter today.
Anyone take Eto'o?
I thought he was finished but 12 goals for Chelsea last season and is still hungry to play at the top level.

Not for me. If we get a new striker then we need someone who can break down a bus and Bony is the man for that role. I fully expect many teams to park the bus at Anfield next season so we need a plan B.
Eto'o is on huge wages isn't he?
I'd take Cole on a one or two year deal
I'll have some of what your chugging r1
If the 8 attacking places looked like this come august..
Coutinho
Sterling
2 of Sanchez, Lallana, and Kono
Michu
Suarez
Sturridge
Borini
I'd be over the moon and I think it's realistic and in budgetish
I'd take that Kaiser, still think Borini has somethign to offer us
I was listening to the Anfield Wraps end of season review last night, worth a listen, anyway they were discussing how well Brendan has done considering how he had to slash the wage bill meaning we lost some very experienced pro's like Dirk and Maxi, they were saying that despite the no Europe our squad was just too small when it came to it and we just lacked a player or 2 that may have seen us over the line
It got me thinking that it would have been great to have Dirk and or Maxi on the bench v Chelsea for example, the wise old heads coudl have really benifited us, but I fully understand why we moved them on and it did allow Sterling to become a part of the first team, still wouldn't it have been great at one down to Chelsea to be able to bring on Kuyt instead of Aspas!
I do think we need more experience.
Our plan still very much young talent but you always need some older heads.
I hope we sign a mix of young talent and proven talent this summer.
As for Eto'o being on mega wages you never know until you ask.
Many players get a reputation for being wage hungry that is not always deserved. He has already said he has no intention of going to a football backwater just for cash.
There's a dearth of quality strikers who could back up Suarridge. Personally, I'd be tempted to take a punt on Remy.
sanchez has closed with inter apparently but sources from juve claim he has closed there with llorente going towards barca, cause enrique wants a classic '9' up front rather than all these fake 9s and stuff

I think Remy would be ideal. As well as playing up front he can also play wide.

Wouldnt believe anything til Di Marzio reports it personally
Sanchez will go back to italy more than likely, seems a bit flakey to me.
