Even if we get a decent points haul from those fixtures, 12 or so? We would likely still be some distance off those teams with an easier start, and we will have some of the usual suspects on here whinging without seeing the bigger picture.

Realistically looking at our first 13 games of the season I find it unlikely we will have more than 20 points (and that will be having done reasonably well to be honest).

Last season 20 points has you around 6th or 7th after 13 games. Certainly you would expect it to be somewhere between 5th and 8th.

Nobody will really be complaining if thats the case (assuming we are playing to a decent standard).

If you are looking at much less than 17 points then its bottom half of the table stuff, and depending on performance level and how we are doing in the Europa and Cap 1 cup then Rodgers will likely be in massive trouble.

We got 17 from the first 13 games last season, and the fixtures were kinder

24 in 13/14 was a great start but we only got 16 in 12/13.

Average over Rodgers 3 seasons is 19 but average in the 2 seasons when we have had European football is only 16.5.

Its hard to see him still manager in December if we take the European average or less.
