Could be the case. Could also be hes not playing his hand as hes already shook his hand with florentino perez.

Ive personally from way back in the summer felt hed leave. He strikes me as someone whod enjoy the pomp that comes with playing with madrid. A bit in the beckham mould but obvs not on the same stratospehric level as him.

If anything im clinging to the fact that he might reconsider based on how good weve been. I get wby hed fancy going to madrid and playing with them players but right now, we look like we are set for another period of competing for the big prizes. Why anyone would want to walk away from that, especially when it is your boyhood team, is beyond me.

I really hope so too, it only took one game with him back in the team to show his true value to the team. That ball to Salah for the opener against City, Trent was surrounded by and being closed down by about five City players before he released it. Absolute cheat code of a player

I think Trent is more silent as he is from the city and more respectful of the club. He probably doesn't have an agent in his ear pushing this I haven't been offered a contract yet propaganda knowing full well they're in negotiations and the contract offer won't come until that's sorted.

Nunez to start tonight? His cameo from the bench was arguably his best showing in a Liverpool shirt way at Newcastle last season.

I'd probably start with Diaz in the middle with Gakpo on the left and bring Dawin on in the second half. For me this is the far trickier game than the derby at the weekend. I'd start Nunez on Saturday.

We really need to address the defence and midfield in January. Quansah and Gomez just aren't good enough in my opinion.

We also need to replace Nunez in summer, just such an unreliable player.

We can't even address VVD contract and you think our owners are going to splash in Jan?

Bad night results wise for us sadly. Could have been worse and a point at Newcastle isn’t a bad result, but feels a lot worse having been in the lead until so late.

He did exactly the same in I think it was the last game and got away with it when the opposition player didn't get it on target.

However like you say he's been solid so can't criticise too much.

Alisson need to come back in goal. He has more experience in those situations.
