A point isn't the end of the world. Tough place to play.
I'm convinced more than ever that Nunez is just not going to make it at Anfield. We need to cash in at the end of the season. He has such a poor footballing IQ. He's just not getting any better. Off side constantly and still snatching at his chances.

Looked like 89:01 to me.

Tbh even his good spells are slightly better than average, he’s just not good enough.

He has everything you need in a striker in our system apart from the main thing, being cool and calm in front of goal. Still hoping it will come but time running out you'd imagine.

It’s pretty rare that players suddenly go from wasteful to clinical. Nunez is probably the most wasteful striker I’ve ever seen, except Werner perhaps.

The attack or Nunez isn't the problem. Just win the facking duels and you go home with three points. Robertson, Quansah and Gomez are more a problem for me. They are just poor defenders. Virgil and Ibou are the only two who are consistently good.
posted 16 hours, 13 minutes ago
If Jota plays we win that game comfortably, unfortunately he’s never fit. We really need a reliable striker.
posted 16 hours, 7 minutes ago
If Alisson and Ibou plays we win that game comfortably.
So many ifs but we almost got out of jail but for a horrific error. Should really have lost today so this is a point gained in the grand scheme of things.

Hilarious how giddy Arsenal fans are getting.
posted 15 hours, 58 minutes ago
Kelleher catches the ball well dno why he risks leaving it so often, tryna be too clever. He claims balls quite well in general, absolute madness to be doing that. Gonna learn from it after tonight no doubt about that he will be gutted and feeling like hes let the team down.
posted 15 hours, 56 minutes ago
Salah and trent almost bailed us out, stat wise we we were decent, better infact but eye test we were quite poor and Newcastle played well and looked well up for it.

I think we need to see it that way and remain calm,
I certainly would have taken 7 points from 9 in this run of 3 games buts its absolutely vital we get the win at Goodison now though.

Do we? Obviously Jota is the better finisher but let's not act like he doesn't drop stinkers as well.
They've also both scored only 2 goals this season.

Disappointing but a draw away to Newcastle is not the end of the world
How many games is it now...Arsenal, Brighton, Southampton and Newcastle...we concede away from home.
posted 7 hours, 31 minutes ago
It was defence that cost us two points, simple as that. We scored three goals and that should be more than enough for a win. And if we’re going to be honest with ourselves then we’ve gotten away with several games this season. Last night we didn’t.
posted 7 hours, 25 minutes ago
I think it's more the setup tbh
posted 7 hours, 17 minutes ago
The drop off in quality with the injuries we have is quite severe tbh. We need Trent fit to start on Saturday, Quansah at right back is not good at all.
Ideas when Bradley, Tsimikas, and Konate are actually back? Sick of injuries becoming the theme of every season.
posted 6 hours, 46 minutes ago
5 defenders until new year is a huge concern. We need to unearth another Bradley type youth players. No way can Robbo play every game. This is what broke us last season.
posted 6 hours, 38 minutes ago
Tsimikas could be back next weekend.
posted 6 hours, 36 minutes ago
We need to beat Everton next. Tough game. We usually struggle against Physical teams just like Newcastle who have big and physical players especially in midfield. Missing Macca makes it worse. We need to defend better particularly at set pieces. We can depend on Mo and others to score. Hope we get a better referee. With how bad we played we could and should have still won at the end.
Konate injury came at the wrong time playing teams depending on long ball and physical game.

Then you add Van Dijk and Trent that's 3 fit players.
The obvious thing is to never play Quansah at RB. Whoever suggested that needs to be investigated as a double agent.
Then use Gomez to alternate between Trent & Robertson when needed.
