wish we'd just pay the money for Clyne!

What was our latest offer 10.1m?

Don't under stand how the people negotiating can stand firm when rejecting city for Sterling yet then expect to get money off for Clyne.

£15m for Clyne is a great price considering how they've shafted us previously.

Ayre thinking he can pull off another Moreno situation

It's more down to the fact that Clyne only has 1 year remaining on his contract. But I think we should bite the bullet and pay the £15m that Southampton want. From what I've seen of the kid, he looks like he'll be a class act. Plus he's an actual natural right back.

Pretty sure you guys would be pîssèd off if we dident get the best deal for the players we sell, why wouldn't we try and get the best deal for those we buy?

Some are being ridiculous with their criticism of fsg again here..

it must be miserable for some people. Everything is the worst possible outcome for them.

I said the other day that some pot chasers are seemingly starting to regret the decision they made to support (and I use that word loosely) LFC all those years ago.

We're have I criticised FSG, simply by saying I wish we would just pay the fee for Clyne?

I think he's worth it and all the messing about could see us miss out out the player.

We have been here before. We faff around and then someone else comes in. The threat of United is still possible for Clyne.

It's ridiculous, we have owners that put money in to the club. Take absolutely no dividends from the club.

They are dragging us kicking and screaming in to the modern age, sponsership deals galore being struck, and that money is funding the stadium expansions (hope we do both...) which in turn will allow us more transfer revenue,

They are undoing 10s of years of financial mismanagement, they paid off our bankruptcy level debt from their own pockets, and again, I stress they have never ever taken dividends from any of their sporting franchises..

And yet some people on here want to beat them with a stick because they want to get the best price they can on a young player with just a year left on his contract.

Fùck me some people need to step back and see the bigger picture..

Had we been managed well at the start of the pl era we would probably be richer the richest club in the league,

When looking at FSG' s outlay, it shouldn't be forgotten that due to circumstances at the time, they bought the club for a bargain price.

"Had we been managed well at the start of the pl era we would probably be richer the richest club in the league"

completely disagree

whoever was the 'best' team at the PL/CL start was going to shoot miles ahead of everyone else. The money thrown at the top side after that shift in the market was epic.

I'd love to see some evidence of fsg increasing transfer bids at a rate of 60k..

I mean really love it.. It would also be nice to see some of the "now now now" crybabys set out some sort of financial plan for how the club can stay solvent buying all the players they want for whatever the selling club demand..

Or them even debate any of the facts of theaters of financial mismanagement that led tp our current situation, they are the only owners we have had in the pl era worth the name. The others were happy letting us coast and creaming off the profits,

As for the rubbish about a bargain price, whenbyou buy a business you pay it's worth, you don't get it at a knockdown price, it's the value of the club.

That should emphasise how badly managed we had been, that we were worth so little..

You pay, you buy and you go.

If United come in with a counter offer then we know in mid June that we need to find another right back option.

It's far from as simple as "You pay, you buy and you go.
"
If we submit an offer that is accepted, it doesn't mean that other offers can't be accepted!
