Wilshere has a footballing brain i think...i prefer him to Barkley...although that explosiveness from Barkley can catch the eye better. Both will be decent with a holding midfielder behind them.

Rodwell was actually decent as well.

Injuries will cripple all of them though

Also, if people are looking for us to find a new way to score goals then you should probably give up on Rodgers. He has his style of play and when it doesnt work, he mixes things up to get the team playing to that style again. He's not going to find a new way to play.

And Wilshere is a lot better than Barkley/Rodwell. He's talented and as people say he's got a footballing brain unlike Barkley who reminds me of a headless chicken at times. Rodwell has never been very good to be honest, city ruined him for sure though.

We have different formations and maybe a tweak in tactics...but the end result is always the same. Possession, press, transition quickly.
